The food was not what I expected - it was fantastic - well presented, hot and perfectly cooked. If I visit Bangor again then I'll definitely be making another visit. They also do rooms here so I'll definitely consider that for a future visit too.

A few of us went here for a night out, starters were great, soup was lovely, and others looked good. Mains were average at best. Steak was unbelievably tough, and it wasn't just mine. Chips were cold, and onion rings were deep fried air. Drinks pretty expensive too.

We visited Bangor after going to Zip World. Glad we passed this pub, friendly staff, food was amazing especially the home cooked chips, chef even came out to see if we had enjoyed our meal. Land lady was very friendly and made us feel very welcoming. Would definitely visit again if I return to Bangor, shame we live in Manchester... More

I had sweet potato and red pepper soup as a starter - excellent!! Lasagne, chips and salad. The lasagne was excellent and a generous portion. I didn't have room for a dessert. Good service. Did I say the lasagne was excellent?

I really didn't want to go to this place after a bad experience last time. I didn't have a choice as friends had booked and invited us when they knew we were visiting the area again It has new owners and obviously a new chef. The home made food was great. Well cooked, well presented and absolutely delicious. highly recommend... More

We are a Christian, a Catholic and a Muslim just popping in before our restaurant booking around the corner. Very disappointed and shocked to see this on the door. Obviously we were not welcome so they lost our business that day. Integration is key to irradicating ignorance and prejudice.

My graduation was coming up on the 11th July 2016, so I decided to book a table at the Boatyard where my family, boyfriend and myself really enjoy going and never had a bad experience there. I booked the table with ease and was really excited to go and have a meal to celebrate such a special occasion. We arrived... More

Ate here a couple of years ago and it had a much larger menu selection than this time around, I also think it may have changed hands or new management, the land lady hovering around rubbing shoulders with locals in bar area but not in the least bit interested in other diners of which we were two of around possibly...
