Booked 3 rooms at this hotel as we were in the area for our sons 21st. Nothing was to much trouble, the rooms were spotlessly clean, comfy beds, lovely hot water and the breakfast was second to none. Thank you Errol and the team and the locals in the bar who were good fun. P.s you really don't notice the... More

For those people either touring North Wales or on a walking holiday this hotel has plenty to offer. Its in an excellent location, close to the A55 and A5 as well as close to Bangor with its links to Anglesey as well as Caernarfon, Conwy, Llandudno and Snowdonia. There is a bus stop nearby with regular buses west to Bangor... More

Just got back from a 2 night stay fro graduation at Bangor Uni. Booked the Abbeyfield as it was one of the few who could do 2 nights. It's a nice simple hotel that serves a great breakfast. The bar menu is excellent and the portions not for those on a diet! I had the steak n ale pie and... More

Clean room, comfortable facilities, decent home cooked food in the bar. Friendly and helpful staff. I was in Bangor on business and wanted somewhere peaceful and reasonably priced before I headed on to my next destination. I got what I wanted.

We had a pleasant stay here, our twin room was very clean and comfortable. I booked late so we didn't have a view from the window and there was some light pollution from a nearby security light. All the staff we met were helpful and friendly. The odd thing was that there were several quite forbidding notices about losing keys... More

A group of us stayed here after visiting Zipworld. We ate in the pub, everyone was very happy with the food they ordered. I had the lamb burger, best lamb burger I have ever had, clearly home made food and very high quality but great value for money. Our rooms were all very clean and accommodating.
