We were looking for a dog friendly pubs that allowed dogs inside as it was raining. We were made to feel extremely welcome. The barmaid brought the dogs a treat each and also a bandage when my one dog scratched his neck and made it bleed. Food was lovely and reasonably priced. Right on the sea front. Highly recommend. Thank...

Nice little hotel for a quick stop over. Well appointed room. The noise from the pub did make its way around the place but that would be expected for a Saturday night. The guy at the counter did warn us about this.

I chose the Waverley as it was adjacent to the railway station. The single room was disappointing but as I arrived in Bangor late in the day it was too late to find an alternative. The bed was past its best, there was no heating in the morning, the shower cubicle was small, the general appearance was tatty, the full...

The only good thing I can point out is the location. This is advertised as a hotel, it isn't, this is a noisy pub with rooms above. Karaoke was on until 1am Sat & Sun night & was extremely loud, total disregard for people trying to sleep. Only one person serving & cooking breakfast (which was an additional charge) the...

I booked this based on the reviews on Booking.com and because the chain hotels Premier inn and Travel lodge are 4 mile out of town. When we arrived the young girl on reception checked us in she had a young guy in football clothes sat behind the reception that started alarm bells ring this was not going to be good....

This is, by some margin, the worst place I've ever stayed. The room itself was grotty and smelly; there was no toilet paper and the bed was hard. The worst thing was the bar, which was incredibly noisy all afternoon and until 2am, despite being told by the receptionist that the bar shut at midnight. The bar was also awful,...

Booked this place at the last minute as I needed a place to stay coming off the ferry in Hollyhead. The location is perfect, right across the street from the train station, and both staff members who I dealt with were pleasant and helpful, and my room was clean. The wifi was fast enough to do the job. However, I...

Nice rooms, but walls are paper thin and music was very loud downstairs. We phoned the reception at 11pm and asked if the music could be turned down as we had to be up early for work (not an unreasonable request for a Monday night), and they said the music would be going off in a few minutes and he...
