Me and my other half camped here for 3 out of our 4 planned nights, we'd had enough of the neighbours by day 3! facilities were great the location was beautiful but we were put next to a family who were loud crude and vile to their children. This could of really ruined our plan to relax in the Welsh... More

Ultra clean shower block, beautiful grounds, easy walk to waterfalls and steam train plus hillsides, amazing countryside views, relaxing, lots of animal statues situated around the site, will definitely return.

used this site as a base for planning a wedding in mid wales, the site was very clean and quiet despite the poor weather, toilet block for tourers is exceptional very clean. There is a café on site that does take away Friday and Saturday night as well as being open in the week, Although if you want the best... More

We stayed at this site for the August bank holiday weekend. I was impressed with the overall layout of the site and that it provided excellent toilet and shower facilities which were clean and well maintained. There is also a shop/café on site which provides your basic needs and meals/snacks throughout the day. The site is within a 5 minute... More

I am writing this review as I come towards the end of my 10 day break. Regardless of the wet weather my boys have had a wonderful time. Having stayed at a commercialised site in Devon for a week in August, The Woodlands has been lovely. The children have played outside, rode their bikes, played football, chased sheep (my boys... I am not a camper. I am fond of my creature comforts. However after several years of discussion I was finally talked into giving it another try. I am very pleased we chose this site, as, whilst I don't think I will ever camp for more than a couple of nights this site had everything you could wish for. The... More

This is the first holiday we have rebook for the next year! Why? We have two children under 10 and were happy to let them play with all the other kids on the site with out having to be on top of them all day. The pitch was ample for our rather large tent. The toilet block was great and... More

We had a lovely week camping at The Woodlands Caravan park in August. This was mainly because of the location which is beautiful. The campsite was good but could have been a lot better. Some of the good and bad points: The toilet/shower blocks were very warm on the cooler evenings Not enough shower cubicles and they got quite dirty... More

We have just returned from a wonderful 3 days away. The camping facilities are second to none and all of the staff were friendly and helpful at all times. The shower blocks are the best I have ever seen and an added bonus was the free WiFi available in the tea rooms for my 14 year old.( can't live without... More

Location for exploring mid Wales is excellent. Stunning location. Washrooms the cleanest ever been to on a campsite. Showers hot hot hot. Short walk to Devils Bridge and a little further to Vale of Rheidol steam railway station. TV and power hook up available
