We attended The Pear Tree Inn on the 4th December for a Christmas lunch we booked for 89 people. The three course lunch was excellent and could not be faulted. The staff were happy, very friendly and accommodating and all worked very hard to ensure that we all had a wonderful time. We booked the venue with their Sales Manager,...

I stayed here on business so I hadn't booked the hotel myself. It could do with a little upgrading and there were a couple of minor issues. The shower curtain needed replacing and the valance was too small for the bed and had been ripped showing the wooden base of the bed, so again a lack of attention to detail....

Stayed at this lovely hotel for one night after attending a function there. Pleasant staff, only booked a standard room which was most acceptable, quite traditional but with a very modern bathroom and lovely towels (a small point I guess but important to me). We attended a fairly large function, the food was very good, and the staff very attentive....

This is an ok hotel if you need to stay here for a function as we did. The hotel has mixed styles from swags & tails curtains, 1980s styles mixed with comfortable practical lounge furnishings. The Hotel welcome was very good & all the staff seemed very friendly & very helpful. Even the parrot has a lot to say. Our...

Stayed here for a couple of nights, clean tidy well run hotel, nothing fancy just good old fashioned service. If you get a room at the back it's very quiet, a little traffic noise from the distant M5 if you are at the front but not enough to spoil the stay or the surroundings, not a bad restaurant although the...

I stayed at the Inn for one night. On arrival, the receptionist was very friendly and got my room ready straight away. The room is a little dated but the hotel is lovely. The bed was a little messily made up and not very comfortable. The bathtub had lots of hair in it also but I just washed them away...

I would say that the rooms were a little dated and mine smelt of damp. They looked clean though and the mattress was very comfortable. The food was lovely (we ate there two nights running) and the staff were very friendly too.
