Well I think they must have read previous reviews and acted on them! We arrived for Sunday lunch and were well greeted and looked after. Our waitress could not have been more helpful. They were training some new inexperienced staff but it was all discreet and well done. Starter was excellent, roast good. Will def go back.

Set on the River Seven this is a lovely place to eat in the Shadow of Worcester Cathedral. No complaints with the quality of food all lovely. Nice place to sit and relax. My only issue is the bar area is very small, understaffed and long queues form.

Stayed here with our two granddaughters aged 12 and 15. Just back yesterday. We so enjoyed our stay. We had the suite in the annexe which was perfect. Lots of space. Two bedrooms and a lovely little sitting room overlooking the river. Food excellent catering well for our one coeliac. All the staff were so nice and helpful. Overall a... More

A beautiful riverside hotel....what a perfect location with good bar food and excellent fine dining also. Gorgeous river frontage to relax and let the world go by. The hotel is not the most luxurious or up to date, but it is homely and very comfortable with hard working lovely staff. Public rooms are well decorated in period appropriate decor. The... More

Visited the Diglis hotel for lunch. Wife drinking pinms, very nice. Beer excellent. Antipasti for 2. Fantastic. Nice calm area here in the garden overlooking the River 7. It's a nice little stroll to the Cathedral. The staff are pleasant and the toilets very clean with nice soap. 1 very romantic place to enjoy lunch.

This hotel has the best location in Worcester for a drink to watch the world go by. Unfortunately due to its prime location half of Worcester agree with me. It becomes very crowded and busy, the staff do there best to cater for all but delays do occur. Having been the hotel a few times I don't understand the people... More

Have stayed at the Diglis on several occasions, always in the Annex. This stay was faultless. Professional and courteous staff. This time we stayed in room 21. Lovely, quiet room, nicely furnished, spacious. Doors onto a terrace over looking the river. Very relaxing outlook. Our room was clean and the bathroom is lovely. Also a seating area to look out... On a lovely summer's evening it was the ideal place to go, but the restaurant lacks atmosphere, and the food was very slow coming. The food was OK, but was uninspiring. Our waiter appeared to be inexperienced and timid. We won't rush back.

I first visited The Diglis Hotel in June 1969. I remember sitting by the river enjoying the garden and I found this place very acceptable during the following three years. I moved away and then returned to the area in 1979. I have visited on and off since then and found that the place never lived up to expectations. The... More
