We visited on a Sunday and were disappointed to find that wetherspoons were no longer offering a Sunday dinner as one of their specials (now a Sunday brunch). However the views from the patio area, over to the Cotswold hills, more than made up for the lack of a beef dinner (replaced by a philly cheese steak sandwich). This is... More

We stayed for 2 nights while attending the Malvern College cricket festival. The price was very good compared to other hotels and b&b's and the front of the place looked gorgeous covered in hanging baskets. Parking can be a problem but we managed to squeeze in on the street, there is no hotel parking. Our room was a really good... More

Having stayed there previously we had no hesitation in booking a return stay and we were not disappointed. The room had everything we needed - comfortable bed and a decent shower. The room was quite warm (it was one of the few hot spells of the summer!) but a fan was provided which made a difference. Service in the bar... More

Average hotel but no on-site parking. I was directed to a municipal car park which must have been about 1/2 mile away! And it's all uphill from the car park to the hotel. Not a convenient hotel if you're driving but good central location in Malvern close to the theatre.

Lovely old building sympathetically renovated by Wetherspoon. Excellent location with stunning views of the Malverns. Downside was lack of free parking and nearest long stay was a 10 minute walk at the foot of a very steep hill. Also receptionist was a little officious at check in. Room was very spacious and comfortable with the usual little extras like biccies... More

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. I'm sorry that you found the lack of parking to be a downside. We do advertise the fact that we have no parking on the JDW website, which I believe you booked through. I do appreciate that the walk back is all uphill, but due to our location this... More

Stayed at the Foley Arms for 2 nights mid-August on a Sunday and Monday evening. Check-in was speedy and room allocated was spacious and offered excellent views over the hills! Bathroom oddly shaped but functional despite towel disaster. Two night stay for two guests; one bath towel? Took two separate requests, one visit to reception and one via telephone, before... More

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review and I'm pleased to read that overall you enjoyed your time with us. I'm sorry that there was a towel disaster and that it took two separate occasions to get this rectified. I will have a word with the reception team regarding this as it's not acceptable. With regards... More

The location was fantastic - in the centre of town and easy to walk everywhere. There is no parking with this hotel and parking was some way away. The Weatherspoons pub provided great food with great value for money (lunch for 4 with drinks for under £20), excellent choice, quick service and great quality. The room (room 2) was a... More

Family room was comfortable and clean with two proper single beds for children making for a much more comfortable night. However what gives this gotel a 5 star rating is the helpful and friendly staff. Whatever the question we were greeted with a smile and a warmth that made the trip a delight.

Very central with large room, ensuite and well appointed. Great value for money and good food served promptly by friendly staff. Very accommodating with changes to menu etc. Only downside, which was beyond their control, was failure of water supply on the morning we were leaving. No shower,no flush for the loo, cleaning teeth etc. Provided with bottles of water but ,overall, rather unfortunate.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The stunning Georgian architecture of this old coaching inn has been a feature of the Victorian spa town of Malvern for 200 years.Situated right in the heart of the town, we have 23 individual bedrooms, many of which have wonderful views across the Severn Plain. All of our rooms are en suite and include tea- and coffee-making facilities, a hair dryer and TV. FREE Wi-Fi is available in the bar area and in most of our rooms however signal can sometimes be lost due to the style of the building. The Foley Arms Hotel is set in a wonderful location from which to explore the stunning Malvern countryside, the Midlands and the Welsh Marches areas. The area has a wide range of stately homes, beautiful gardens, lively farm parks and award-winning museums for you to explore, along with a host of modern-day attractions for all the family such as the Morgan's Visitors centre. It is also perfect for those visiting Worcester and Hereford races. Please note WE DO NOT HAVE A CAR PARK! Guests may park outside the front of the hotel to unload, then please ask reception for directions to the nearest car park. Some street parking is available free of charge , this is around a 10-15 minute walk to the hotel. Due the the building being listed we do not have a lift to our rooms so if you require a room on the reception floor (which still requires climbing some stairs) please notify us when booking. Our hotel is situated above our lovely, busy pub restaurant. Food is served from 7am-11pm and the bar is open till midnight 7 days a week. Large tables may be pre-booked so if you are celebrating let reception know or pop down and see us! Please be advised we are a very busy pub so some noise form our outside areas may carry to the room, especially at weekends. We do monitor customers and do try to keep distruption to a minimum but it is useful to bear this in mind when booking. Many thanks, and we look forward to welcoming you soon! ... more   less
