My wife and I recently enjoyed a two nights stay on a Travelzoo offer at the Abbey Hotel. We were in a good sized Executive room on the front of the hotel. It was very clean and comfortable and had a view to the hills. All of the staff were professional, obliging and attentive throughout our stay. We had dinner...

We visited The Abbey Hotel for a one night DB&B short stay - it is an amazing hotel. Our room was very comfortable and food good, but the thing that set this hotel apart was the friendliness and service from staff. Special thanks to Rozanna on reception, and Agnes and Stephen in the restaurant. We will be back!

Some confusion upon arrival regarding room booked but this was resolved to our satisfaction following a trip to Reception ( we asked for a room in the 'old; section not the 'new'), Room was a good size with a nice...

This hotel was a little more pricey than some, but has excellent reception areas with great views to relax in and the bedroom had a large comfortable bed. The staff were really helpful throughout the hotel, and even went out to buy some ground decaff coffee at breakfast, as well as helping with cases and refusing a tip.
