I stayed in this beautiful Victorian B&B 5 days this October during a worshop with two other fruebds. If you love antiques, days gone by , old architecture and a Victorian experience I would recommend this place. Or if you are young and adventurous stay here and experience kind hospitality , nostalgia of Victorian days, and beautiful architecture. It's "... More

The house was dirty and in need of a good thorough clean. I'm not Howard Hughes but I did not want to touch anything in the house. I don't mind the fact that it was cluttered, just very dusty and unclean. Bathrooms were not satisfactory, several hairs on taps, in sinks, shower trays and on toilets. Carpets stained and dirty.... Carpet very dirty, bathroom just as bad and unable to move. House totally cluttered. Cups / glasses in room unclean. Dining room dirty, cigarette ash on breakfast table. Preserves pots very dirty, sticky - the whole thing was just a bad experience. Subsequently have learnt that the venue is not registered with local authority - tip to always check this... More

We are sorry that the lady in question did not enjoy her stay at Grassendale House She did in fact stay for two nights and had ample opportunity to raise any issues with us,but chose not to do so until her departure, when she received a discount from her bill. The local authority are aware of us and we maintain... More

A beautiful house, full of character. Old fashioned in the best sense of the word. Our room was large and comfortable and was full of beautiful furniture and ornaments in an art deco or art nouveau style. The entire house was similarly decorated and adorned with beautiful furniture, objects and flowers. The hosts were also very thoughtful and things like... More

We spent one night here as a group of 6 using 3 bedrooms. We really did like staying here, it is comfortable with generally good facilities and an excellent breakfast. Car parking is immediately outside the front door and it is a 5-10 minute walk to the centre of the town including the theatre which we went to on the... More

Stayed here for 2 nights whilst in Great Malvern for the theatre. We stayed in the Brass Room (no.3). We received a warm welcome and introduction to the house. The room and bathroom were interestingly decorated with numerous knick-knacks. Large room that included a settee and chaise longue. Plenty of space for clothes in wardrobe and chest of drawers. TV... A couple weeks ago we stayed in this amazing house to enjoy the lovely Malvern, the Worcester area and the Cotswolds. The villa is so impressive and it has a lovely library with so many books. Unfortunately we only stayed one night so we didn't have the time to enjoy it and stay in to read a book. The room... More

This flat consisted of two rooms (a twin, and a double including a fold-away bed), adjacent to a big room with some chairs and a small tv, adjacent to a corridor which led to the kitchen, adjacent to a second corridor with a row of nursery-school-type small sinks, in front of them was the toilet and bathroom, at the flat's... To enter Grassendale House and be greeted by quietly organised and friendly Hilary and Rowley - to be suddenly surrounded by a parlour, staircase and library Queen Victoria herself would have felt comfortable in, is an experience I hadn't anticipated. A plethora of antiquity and memorabilia of universal origin and intriguing fascination. Comfortable beds and rooms - my grandmother's kind... More

Just back from a 1 night stay in this absolutely beautiful Victorian house just a 5 minute walk from the main little market town. Very Art Deco with tiled floors and an abundance of fine antiques and furniture. We stayed here with our friends so we're given 2 bedrooms on the 1st floor both large with huge beds, ours being...
