Fabulous place. Great that you can take your pet with you. Lots of lovely grounds to walk in and beautiful views. Near the Cotswolds for exploring. Been 3 times in total and will definitely be back. Food was lovely and all the rooms were comfy and relaxing

We went as part of a shooting party and stayed the one night in this imposing building. Surrounded by beautiful grounds it is all very easy on the eye. The room was comfortable as was the bed. The windows were a proper challenge to open for fresh air, an elderly person would struggle. The quality of the rooms varied depending... More

Stayed for 2 nights with my mother as a break. Beautiful hotel set in wonderful parkland and lovely room. We are in both evenings with a 3 course dinner at a more than reasonable price. Appreciated that the menu changed on the second night, but both offered plenty of choice.

Grand old house with bags of interesting history. Set in extensive grounds, it is in a really peaceful location, ideal for a relaxing break. Lots of local walks, and close to some very interesting Cotswold villages. Huge open fire in the reception area, and wood panneling everywhere. All staff were friendly and polite, and the food was delicious and well... More

Visited for my dad's 70th birthday meal. Phoned in advance and they agreed we could tie our balloons to the centre of the table and bring our own birthday cake. Food was delicious with plenty of veg and roast potatoes. We were allowed to take our time over lunch and then relaxed in the lounge afterwards. My parents come here... More

Picked up this hotel on one of the Voucher websites. The offer was unbelievable. A large country house with a history going back to 866 (Yes 866 AD). The current building built in the late 1800s/ early 1900s is excellent value for money but you have to keep watch for the best deal. We latched onto an excellent deal (Travelzoo)... More

This was our second stay to visit friends and our stay has been enjoyable each time. The hall sits in large beautiful grounds and just driving up the approach road you can't help but relax. Plenty of parking, impressive hall & friendly helpful staff. Our room was comfortable and spacious with a lovely view over the front grounds. If tired... More

Stayed for one night. Lovely looking building and lots of original features inside. Check in was slow as nobody was on the desk and I had to go find someone. Room on the top floor was large enough with a comfy bed and good bedding. Yes there are age marks in the room but its an old building and cannot... More
