This pub is just away from the centre of Broadway. It is traditional in appearance to the extent that it feels like a step back in time but don't be put off. The bar itself is quite small although there are a reasonable number of tables. For beer lovers there is a great selection for such a small pub, as... More

We booked for evening meal as staying in the area and as it was a Thursday, advised it was their Jazz night. Not a great Jazz fiend but we knew we wanted somewhere near our B&B to have a meal that evening. Very old world and rustic, a little cramped with quite a few tables. But very friendly and efficient... More

I had overheard someone that worked at Snowshill Manor recommending the food at the Crown and Trumpet the day before, so decided to give it a try. As it was a Saturday lunchtime, it was quite busy and there was no parking outside, but if you pass the pub on your left, turn left and there's a public car park... More

We were looking for a good lunchtime meal in this area and found this place. Most of the nearby pubs were of the 'gastro' pub variety with expensive menus but this place had a good selection of meals at very reasonable prices and totally unexpected being in Broadway. The beer selection was pretty good too. Smashing little pub and highly... More

Live jazz music accompanied our meal in the bar. Straight forward food presented well that tasted great. Went back the next night for more live music. Big portions of chicken eaten! We were staying elsewhere

My wife and I stayed a night here as we walked the Cotswold Way. The location is fine, although it's a bit outside of town if you're walking from Chipping Campden to Bath. The room was ensuit and clean, we were located right above the exit for the pub, so as they closed up late night we were lucky enough... More

Called in on a Friday and saw Beth Harris perform. Pub was a strange eclectic mix of furniture, however beer and food were very good. Most people congregated outside as a warm evening. They missed a treat as Beth was a gem, wonderful voice and a range of covers done. Acoustically, from Amy Winehouse to Whitesnake. If you get chance to... More

Stayed here for the weekend. Great location, friendly staff, great beer and food. Very comfortable room. Highly recommended for a visit to this beautiful part of the country. Very reasonable prices for this area. And it's in the good beer guide!

Stayed here whilst walking the Cotswold way on possibly the hottest day this summer. The room was ensuite and roomy enough overlooking the front of the pub, which being summertime and with windows open tended to be a bit noisy, any other time of the year I am sure it would be fine. We had breakfast included in the tariff... More

We booked two rooms for our family of four. This is a classic inn experience with a pub on ground floor. The staff is very friendly. The rooms were clean. A band was playing in the pub, but our rooms were still relatively quiet. Breakfast was very nice. For the price, a great deal.
