We visited outside the busy season and enjoyed our stay enormously. We had beautiful rooms, everyone treated us well and we had a delicious meal outside on the front patio. One odd charge of 3% for using a credit card was a bit annoying as I rarely carry large amounts of foreign cash when traveling, and when booking online it... More

Firstly, I always try to be constructive in my reviews. This is the first place I ever stayed that from entering the premises and introduced myself to the bar Manager that their sole purpose was to extract as much money from you before you sat down.I had booked this place on a well known Booking Sight.Stupidly I did not read the... You had NOT PAID for the room on the night in September you stayed.. your confirmation and payment was for a booking you did for January 2017. You were trying to confuse Stephen by using that booking made for January and showed both of us confirmation of that January date which was NOT for this booking in September.. he was... More

Excellent choice for B&B! From the start, very warm welcome in, charming room, we had booked that night to eat in, table all reserved, interesting menu, excellently presented and cooked, delicious! Wonderful surroundings, and live singing, a nice surprise. In the morning, owner himself to talk to us, interested in where we came from and what we wanted to see... More

we enjoyed a recent midweek overnight stay here recently.having stayed in room one which is at the front of the pub. this is a well sized room with quirky sloping floors due to the age of the building! tea and coffee making facilities are also provided . we chose to eat at the pub that evening as well as staying... Stopped here on our way back to our holiday cottage after a day out. Choice of food was very good and the the staff really friendly. Choice of food ranged from light bites to full meals and portion size was good. Vegetables cooked perfectly and food did not take long to arrive after ordering.

We loved The Crown and Trumpet, great atmosphere, food first class, good variety on menu and reasonably priced and really good value. The chicken with mushroom sauce and parsnips just lovely and also the Sunday roast dinner. Staff very welcoming and attentive but not overbearing. Locals very friendly. Would definitely return.

This pub is just away from the centre of Broadway. It is traditional in appearance to the extent that it feels like a step back in time but don't be put off. The bar itself is quite small although there are a reasonable number of tables. For beer lovers there is a great selection for such a small pub, as... More
