This hotel has been on our radar for a while. It is a few minutes drive from Broadway, one of our favourite places to visit. We love the area and are fans of Andrew Brownsword hotels so we decided to go ahead and book. We stayed for dinner, bed and breakfast in the deluxe room, 'blue'. The setting, in a...

From the moment you first drive through the gates you know this is going to be good. The Manor and property are majestic. But best of all is the reception from Dave and his dog Oscar. Can't say enough about Dave. The perfect gentleman who all through our stay seemed to know what we needed before we even said anything....

Idyllic location, charming period property, lovely rooms and amenities, a warm welcome - all the descriptions on the website are so true. However we felt the excellent food dishes were in danger of being a little over detailed. We were also surprised that some of the restaurant staff seemed indifferent to our requests and reluctant to action our comments. Breakfast...

This is one very special place. Lovely grounds. Nice church. Romantic setting. Fine food. All freshly made. Staff are so friendly in a professional way and are only to happy to help. We've frequented The Buckland for Afternoon Tea and stayed in the hotel having breakfast and the tasting meal. It's just so perfect.

Just completed a two night stay and thoroughly enjoyed it. Beautiful grounds, quiet and very private. The food was also both very good and interesting. Wide choice for breakfast (porridge was creamy and flavourful). Nice wines and excellent lamb and sea bass.

The surroundings are beautiful real country house charm just wished some of the staff would lighten up a little though .Other than that...

My wife and I booked a celebration lunch, and it proved a real treat. We were warmly and politely welcomed from the steps as we parked our car, ushered into the comfortable lounge. Drinks came with wonderful appetisers. 3 course lunch is excellent value at £30 - true, the servings are modest, but they are little works of art, in...

We stayed in the Oak Room such a wonderful grand suite - loved this hotel roaring log fires - sweets in crystal bowls - cold flutes of champagne before the best dinners I have had in most UK hotels - 5 courses each night of our five night stay and each course was nothing but amazing and the staff well...

Looking for a country hideaway to enjoy a special weekend, Buckland Manor really ticked the boxes. Unobtrusive but very friendly staff, our stay felt like we were favoured guests in a wonderful home. The room was beautiful - antique touches, sumptuous fabrics and L'Occitaine miniatures in the bathroom. The outlook was just breathtaking - British countryside at its best, with...

It is always a challenge to find that right place to stay when you visit somewhere for the first time. Going on Trip Advisor reviews, I picked Buckland Manor for our first trip to the Cotswolds. I had a little added pressure, too, as some friends were trusting my selection. Well, I scored brilliantly! This place is amazing. The gardens...
