My wife and i decided to stay here for 1 night recently to give us a rest from Grandkid duties. The reviews on TripAdvisor lead us to believe this was a special place, at £175 per night for BB it needed to be.We arrived and everything was fine, shown to our room all OK. Were then told that there was... More

My wife and I have just returned from here having spent 2 nights celebrating our 25th Wedding anniversary. Everything about the place is beautiful, from the immaculate grounds to the amazing house itself. Breakfast is served on one large round table where all the guests sit down together. This works really well as you get to meet other guests and... More

We feel so lucky to have found this place. It's truly gorgeous. The building dates back hundreds of years, and the owners have managed to preserve a feeling of history while offering a real luxury destination. We booked the Elizabethan Suite, which is just divine. The four-poster is incredibly comfortable, and we both had a very peaceful night's sleep, and... More

From the title of my review, only superlatives can describe everything about this place. Other travelers have adequately described the unique features that make Abbots Grange so special. Definitely on our future schedule to revisit.

We stayed here the night after our wedding at the end of May. We only stayed for one night but could have easily and happily stayed much longer. We were in The Millet Room which was beautiful and very traditional. The house and grounds are amazing and it was truly relaxing and luxurious. There are various fireplaces around the house... More

We stayed 3 nights at Abbots Grange and it is excellent as prior reviewers have detailed. The 10-person breakfast table is unique and you dine with some interesting people and some bores---but overall it is a good. The food is very good. Stacey and Sydney provide excellent service and are super courteous. The Grange is a fabulous building that descriptions... More

Stayed one night in this beautiful manor house. Beautiful building and grounds, great hall magnificent. Recieved complementary bottle of win, nice touch and complementary drinks available in the great hall. Enjoyed 4 poster bed, lovely bathroom and shower and plentiful breakfast the next morning. Although manor located in Broadway village it is set down a quiet lane. Certainly would return.

We stayed for one night, and our only regret was that it wasn't for longer. The best thing about Abbots Grange is that it isn't a hotel - there is no reception area, no commercial signs, nothing to indicate that you are anything other than a welcome guest in one of the most beautiful and historic homes I have ever... We located this hotel/b & b through Tripadviser and talked directly with staff to book the room most suitable. In no way we're we disappointed as the house was historically interesting and buitifully furnished. Our room, Millet, was perfect. Staff were all experienced and helpful. Breakfast, outstanding. We shall return.

Great spot for exploring the Cotswolds. Clean, friendly, quiet and comfortable. Tucked away, but just off the High Street in Broadway so you can walk to all the shops, bars and restaurants. The property is set on glorious grounds and the staff were helpful and even offered to make me lemon and ginger tea due to suffering with a cold.... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Nestled in the lea of Broadway hill and standing in a little over eight acres of parkland grounds and gardens you will find the romantic Cotswold hideaway, Abbots Grange. Secluded, yet only 2 minutes walk from Broadway's 'picture perfect' village high street with its delightful array of independent boutique shops, restaurants and inns. This magical, award winning monastic manor has all the comforts you would expect from an AA five GOLD star 'highly commended' guest house. Bedrooms are equipped to a high standard with four poster beds, flat screen TVs and seating areas. The magnificent new Elizabethan Suite opened in April 2016 and can be booked directly through the Abbots Grange web site. Beds in all rooms and suites are dressed with the finest Egyptian cotton sheets to ensure a blissful nights sleep. Thick, fluffy white towels, bath robes and complimentary toiletries complete the en-suite bathrooms. The oldest dwelling in Broadway, Abbots Grange was built in about 1320 as the summer manor for the Abbot of Pershore. There are over 700 years of history to absorb here, perhaps while you unwind in front of the roaring log fire over afternoon tea... or by candlelight after dinner? Breakfast at Abbots Grange is a celebration of all things local. Served in the paneled dining room at the round table, you will find a mouth watering selection of fresh berries and seasonal fruits. Local sausages and smoked bacon together with Cotswold free range eggs. We offer a delicious vegetarian full English breakfast alternative, artisan baked breads and pastries from our own bakery - Huffkins - together with freshly brewed 100% Arabica coffees and loose leaf teas. ... more   less
