This is quite possibly the WORST hotel I have ever stayed in. We booked it through Booking.com as it was the only hotel available for where we wanted to stay, we then found out the day after booking that the reason for not finding anything else was due to the fact Ascot races was on and everywhere else was booked.... We stayed here last night it was a dreadful experience. After being made to pay up front with a no refund policy we were then overcharged and had to demand the difference back. The place is filthy dirty. The room was tiny the bed only had half a headboard. The bathroom was disgusting, hot water was intermittent. The whole experience... More

We stayed in room 11 when we checked in we were greeted by a friendly gentleman who asked if I need help with our bags, we also booked a car parking space. The room was nicely decorated the room and shower were clean, the bed was very comfy with fluffy pillows. There was a kettle and plenty of pots of... More

I booked 3 nights at this hotel for £195 in total. I was shown to a very cramped single room which was disgusting. Bed was sagging and pillows were thin and grey! There was no light shade on the overhead light. Bedroom curtain barely fitted and only a net curtain in bathroom. There was no wardrobe And only hooks on... More

The New Oscar Hotel (to give it its latest name) isn't much to write home about, although it was perfectly situated for my needs. My single bedroom was so cramped -- especially the bathroom facilities -- that there was no space for a chair, making use of a laptop almost impossible. The light was dim, and there was no bedside... Terrible experience, shabby smelly room broken shower and no towel. No available staff can't even begin to describe my anger. £80 wasted. Should have slept in my car. The bed was ancient and the decor looked about circa 1974.

What a hovel. My friend booked this for somewhere to stay for the weekend as we were doing ride the night. Disgusting doesn't even come close. The place was dirty smelly and not even fit for an animal to stay in. Manager was rude arrogant and very unhelpful. Due to it been bank holiday weekend he had us over a... More

I took my kids to Legoland and needed a hotel for the night before our visit. We booked into the New Oscar which is grubby and in need of some TLC. The staff were friendly enough and the hotel is close to the town centre and Legoland which was the reason I booked it. The room was hot, really hot.... More
