Great value food, bar and rooms. Quiet, clean, friendly staff and polite, efficient service. Very close to town and very handy underground car park. The staff have adapted very well to the current Covid regs. They are all friendly and breakfast was great. The rooms are quiet, clean and have air-con. The bar area is comfortable and the outside patio is nice when the weather is good. A real find!
Excellent location for all the sights in Windsor. A basic but good value hotel which is clean and convenient. Friendly and helpful staff. Secure underground parking £13 per night which is great value. Breakfast was very well organised considering COVID. We didn’t eat dinner there. All in all a good choice.
Arrived for a weekend break in Windsor, was greeted at the door by the manager who directed us to safe parking, inside check in was straight forward, the room was spotless and in great condition. Breakfast was very good. All the staff where very welcoming and professional, Hotel is only a shortish walk to the castle. Highly recommended and will definitely book again.
I stayed here April 1, 2021 till April 3, 2021. I went to front desk to check in. An older woman was checking me in. Their was 2 front desk women and 1 gentleman checking in. They were laughing and joking around till I walked up. As soon as I got to the desk the womans whole demeaner changed. She said as little as possible, looked down the whole time. She was arrogant and very condescending the whole exchange. I asked her how to get to my room as I explained I had never been their before and she wasn't telling me without being asked. She seemed put out that she had to explain. She told me come in front door down the hall entrance A elevator was there. I was confused and said wait it is walk down the hall to entrance A that leads to elevator. She said with a dismissive tone no you take this hallway to elevator to 4th floor. She handed me the keys. I looked at keys and said room 431? She just looked at me like I was stupid. Went out to car to get my family bags and park car. Parking the car I see a side entrance marked Entrance A. It was a closer entrance to the elevator and closer to my room which would have been so easily explained if explained correctly. My family and I get in the room and I go to put my water bottles in the fridge, and see old food in their, spills all over inside, disgusting. No trashbags in cans. I called front desk to let them know. I was very polite. Person who answered phone sounded angry that I called to report the fridge was dirty. She told me when housekeeping came back from lunch they would be up. No apology at all. Housekeeping came up about 20 minutes later. She cleaned and wiped down inside and outside of fridge. I could tell she was surprised how dirty. I was very nervous the room and bathroom was not cleaned at all that meets covid precautions. Did not trust front desk at all so I went to cvs and got cleaning supplies and cleaned the room myself. I requested new towels from front desk when I called about fridge and she seemed angry and put out like I was stealing her towels or I was not allowed more than 1 towel at all. I was also not told that the covid regulations about housekeeping coming in your room while you are staying their had changed. When I came back from 6 flags park, our beds were made. I like made beds but since last year housekeeping was not allowed in the rooms to keep covid contact to a minimum. I cleaned the room all over again. I travel once a month but my sister travels every week for work. She works for a medical supply company and her and her colleagues always share best and worst hotels. I don't recommend this hotel with their front desk staff.I will ask my sister for a referral, my mistake for not asking her in the meantime. I plan on coming back in 2 weeks and will be looking for other hotels in the area.Kim Mccrane…
We stayed for 2 nights in a family room. Room was great - spacious, clean and all in good order (mattress wasn’t the best but everyone slept well) The hotel had plenty of sanitiser and felt very clean - I thought the shower gels etc would have been in disposable bottles for extra safety during Covid but it was the large pump action bottles still. The hotel is about 5 minutes walk from the centre (but a nice walk down quiet roads) Breakfast was well managed - hot sausage or bacon bap, porridge or cereal, croissants etc We parked easily in their carpark - but this would be my only complaint as the height of the parking bay is too low for your boot to open and we now have 2 scratches on the paint work....so open your boot gently! We visited legoland and this was about 5-10 minutes drive. I would definitely stay here again…
