Firstly let me apologise for the late response to your message Windsor to Southampton is possibly but you have to change train 2 or 3 times depending time you travel a slightly longer route but less changes is to go Windsor to Waterloo then train direct to Southampton only 2 trains then Hope this has helped

The £35 is not worth it. Windsor and Eton are very safe and there is nearby secure parking at a much cheaper price.

Yes there is a hair dryer ironing board and steam iron in the classic room we have recently stayed in at Windsor Hope this helps
