We had a great stay here and felt total safe as there are good systems in place. The hotel has a very pleasant atmosphere and the staff were super helpful and friendly especially Mathew. The hotel is very central for shops, the castle and restaurants. The rooms were really comfortable and nicely decorated. We will definitely return. Would recommend.

We stayed here for one night as a half way point for Visiting family. The location of the hotel is great and very central within Windsor but thats the reason why my review has been awarded 2 stars As well as the spacious comfortable room. Do NOT order drinks from the bar here, there are far nicer bars down the road that provide better service and reasonable prices. We had ordered 6 glasses between three people of a 175 ml size of Sauvignon blanc they cost nearly £15 a glass!!!! Disgusting that a hotel can get away with charging these prices- as well as £30 per car per day for car parking. I stayed in a hotel in the centre of London which charged £10 per car per day which is far more reasonable. Also we waited 40 minutes to settle up our drinks bill. We asked THREE times and were rudely told “give me 2 seconds it’s really busy” every time. They even had the audacity to try and charge us 15% service charge which we asked to be moved and the server walked away shaking her head which was in clear view for us all too see. The next morning at breakfast the service was just as slow and dreadful, it took 20 minutes for us to get our teas and coffees which were served with no milk and asking for milk meant more waiting. The toast was cold, my breakfast was cold, we asked for more juice which never arrived and we could see other guests around us equally as frustrated. This hotel is not cheap (especially the wine!!) and I feel for that reason the level of service should match the ridiculous prices they charge as a 4 star hotel. We will be staying at a premier inn next time and will not return here or recommend it to anyone.

Dear veegoodchild Thank you for your review. I am sorry that you felt the service was terrible during your stay with us. It is fair to say that Covid has created a new set of challenges for the hospitality industry, one of them being the extreme peaks and troughs in business levels and how this is managed with a vastly reduced team. We thank the many guests who understand this and show a little more patience than previously. Our bar prices are competitive with the other 4 star hotels in the area. Yes, it is possible to find cheaper bars but not in comparable establishments. We consider £30 for parking overnight in an underground, secure car park a reasonable charge and is certainly not overpriced for the location we're in. I would be very interested to know which hotel in central London only charges £10 a day as I've never come across one! Regards John

Had a lovely 4 night stay at this hotel. Staff lovely and friendly, very hard working, nothing was too much trouble. Rooms very clean. Excellent covid 19 precautions in place, felt very safe. Food was superb, breakfast excellent choice, cooked breakfast very nice. Limited choice on dinner menu but something for everyone, the best steak I have had for a long time, well done to the chefs. If nothing you like on the menu just ask they will find you something for you. Room service only available on Fri and Sat. Hotel in windsor High Street opposite castle Recommend you book car park.. Special thank you to staff member Kacper, he was fantastic and worked so hard, very helpful, always cheerful, and very smart. He is an asset to the Hotel. The concierge was a pleasure to meet and talk too. Highly recommended hotel and facilities..
