After reading several positive reviews we chose to stay at the River Arts Club when visiting the Bray-area and we were not disappointed. This is a truly elegant and stylish place with a friendly hospitality. The house itself is lovely and every detail is thought of. I especially loved the combination of the modern art with the old building. I... More

We enjoyed two wonderful nights with Alexandra and her husband and this beautiful bed and breakfast establishment in Maidenhead just outside London. We chose this bead and breakfast as we love period homes and furnishings and this does not disappoint. The house was extremely clean, well run and we had a wonderful time there. The beds, bedding were excellent and... More

We stayed overnight while visiting the Fat Duck, and can't praise the River Arts Club highly enough. The building is a charming grade 2 listed house, tastefully refurbished with lots of really cool South American art, a nice touch in an English country house and well executed. Many Bray, sorry bay windows ;-) We visited in summer and made the... More

This lovely property is situated right on the banks of the Thames; a beautiful example of an arts and crafts design. I'm not sure whether to call it a beautiful boutique hotel or a first rate b&b, but we had a lovely two night stay there. We stayed in a tiny double (their description - Boulters Lock) which suited us... More

Beautiful hotel, just as pictured, right on the Thames. Staff was great. Rooms are lovely - spring for the larger ones if you can. The budget ones are very nice but a bit on the small side for a couple. Grounds are beautifully landscaped, and the breakfast, complete with my own pot of coffee and croissants was delicious. Cannot recommend... More

The River Arts club is a true living at home away from home experience. The owners take care of you and a canoe trip on the Thames river after a day of meetings are trouly great! Ending up watching a football game with the othet guests and the owner.

We arrived at the River Arts Club to find a lovely Victorian Riverside hotel. The host was very welcoming and showed us round some of the rooms. We chose the Club suite for the first night which was massive very clean with everything you would need a huge very comfortable bed with some quirky furnishings and some lovely art. We... More

A really lovely little private guesthouse on the banks of the Thames in Maidenhead. Run by a very friendly couple who are always available to help. The room was very clean, modern-classic in style and had all the facilities required - the bathroom was one of the best in a guesthouse that I've experienced. Breakfast is a cold buffet due... More

And what a splendid time we had in this gorgeous house with friendly accommodating hosts. It was just an overnight stay as we had booked in to the Fat Duck in Bray and did not want to drive home but it was certainly an inspired choice. The building has so much character and is decorated very much to my style... More

Wow! this place has been restored to a very high standard! We had a fabulous night staying here, we enjoyed sitting in the garden during the day (there's something about sitting by the river that's good for the soul). Our room was stunning with great views over the river. The lounge area is welcoming and eclectically furnished (the furnishing throughout... More
