Stayed for two nights earlier this week. Had an executive room with a balcony. It was great value. The balcony does not get the sun in the afternoon and it was a bit cold but the view was great. The room was dated but there was a nice new sofa. The sound insulation was not very good and we heard upstairs walking about at all hours. The staff were all lovely. It was a nice breakfast and we had a meal in the italian but as there were only two tables occupied we were not sure where all the food was going before we got served. The room was not serviced either.

I stayed at the Thames Hotel on a Saturday evening. Staff were all lovely and friendly, location perfect for what I needed. My room was immaculately clean and bed very comfortable. Really loved all the extra touches (hairdryer, iron, ironing board) so I didn't have to go back down and request these items later. Quiet at night - I slept really well. There was entertainment on till 11pm which was well advertised and when I returned from my evening out (after 11pm) the entertainment had finished and hotel was lovely and quiet. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic, great choice, and the hot food seemed of good quality and cooked very well. Perfect start to the day. Admittedly the hotel generally could do with updating but I felt I had a fantastic stay for the price, I felt the decor did not effect my stay. I would definately stay again if I needed to come back to this area. Also lots of parking available at no extra cost which saved a headache after a long journey. Thank you for a lovely stay!

My husband and myself stayed here, superb hotel. Very friendly staff, our room was very clean and well appointed. All the staff are very pleasant and friendly. Trish the Manager was very accommodating with us. Breakfast was superb, and it was a choose your own breakfast and it was freshly made on the spot by Anthony who was also a fabulous member of the team.. Served with piping hot coffee and hot crunchy toast. We can't wait to stay with you again. Thankyou for making out stay so enjoyable.

The good points are the staff are lovely. and the location is great. There is a shop at the end of the road within walking distance . There is a car park and a lovely view of the river. The price was good for what we paid. Unfortunately, the breakfast was ok, the bed was uncomfortable and the pillow wasn't great and i was cold. The tv was so old it had a set-top box. The hotel would be amazing if they spent money upgrading the place.

The staff were all very pleasant and has a great location but that’s as far as it goes I am afraid. We paid extra for a room overlooking the Thames with a balcony, there is a busy road in front of the hotel and a noisy bar below with the smell of cigarettes wafting up, the balcony had cigarette butts scattered around and had not been cleaned for ages, the tiles and window frames were filthy. The view is great but too noisy to relax on the balcony. The room was shabby and actually smelt of stale cigarettes We asked to move to another room and this was done straight away. The breakfast food was only just warm, and the toast that I asked for was cold. Ok to stay if you are working in the area and just want a bed for the night. Personally wouldn’t stay again. Shame it could be so much better.

We booked at the Thame Hotel for 2 nights and decided to stay only 1 night. Room very dirty and very dated. Dust everywhere, stains on the wall paper, curtains hanging off the rail. Not worth the price. However, breakfast was very good. . Don't waste your money and time.

We were here for one night last Saturday, breaking the journey after a holiday in Kent and wanting to visit Cliveden the following day. The location is excellent, directly opposite the Thames and there is a lovely on-site Italian restaurant where we ate that evening. However, it is in desperate need of a refurbishment and our room was tired with tatty curtains and windows which had not seen any Windowlene inside or out for quite some time. The wifi was extremely unreliable and I had to use my mobile data in the main. There is a car park for the use of residents but it is quite small and is really only on a first come, first served basis. Otherwise, it's a question of trying to find a space along one of the neighbouring streets but beware, so many of them have double yellow lines.

Stayed recently with Higher Management one night. Room 1st floor above bar facing the river (and road). Balcony to sit watching the world pass by. Afternoon snacks and drinks out front in the bar. Good selection of bar food. Ate in the adjoining restaurant that evening. Good food , served quickly. Breakfast the next morning the same. Free parking in car park to rear. Staff including Conner and his partner very attentive. Only slight downsides. Noise from traffic, not a lot but evident when windows open. Rom was a little tired, but at 380 for the night including breakfast it was value for money. Would stay again.

This hotel is in desperate need of a refurb. It’s very tired and shabby. Our room on the 2nd floor overlooked the Thames, that’s the only plus to being in that room. The curtains were hanging down, spiders in every corner and dirt and dust on the skirting. There was live music until 11pm, VERY loud and people outside smoking, drinking and being VERY loud until gone 1am (bar closes at 1am). The breakfast was good apart from having your morning juice in a SAN Miguel or Carlsberg glass. On leaving there were piles of cigarette ends and beer glasses on the step. Not pleasant. It’s a great location to walk just along the river to a lovely bar and restaurant. This hotel could be SO much better with a little effort.
