First impressions - beautiful location. The view of the river is quite fantastic, unfortunately positioned right next to a busy roundabout is not ideal when trying to pull out. When entering the hotel, I found the receptionist to be abrupt and not very helpful. I was not told about breakfast arrangements, and the next day he asked me if I... More

We arrived Saturday evening after spending a brilliant night at a family wedding nearby the hotel. - Checked into our room which wasn't great to be honest - Small room for a double (and for what we paid), one side of the bed is against the wall so there was no room to walk around the bed and get in... Stayed for just a night as we couldn't get a room at the place we wanted. The location was nice and was easy to find but the hotel is not quite what it could be. It has obviously had some money spent on it in the not too distant past but things are struggling to stay in good condition and... More

Stayed here on august 20th. Room was nice and clean. The staff were freindly and helpful. We opted to not eat in the resturant due to the reviews so cant comment on the food. Bed was comfy although me and my partner both woke with sore backs and would have been nice to have spare pillows. We also opted not... More

We had a 2 night break at Thames Riviera on 13th-15th August. It started well reception were helpful. Room was gorgeous. Massive with super king size bed, settee, table etc. immaculately clean too. However it was a warm weekend and the sign in the room asked us not to open the windows due to insects. Two fans were provided. It... More

Stayed here with partner and two friends. Upon arrival was allocated into the annex which was fine. Two rooms between us. Security cameras and electronic door key operation to gain access to annex was reassuring. Rooms where very pleasant. Tv, iron, tea / coffee making facilities. Only let down was towels. Very worn and tatty. This was same in both... More

I have used this Hotel many times over the years for everything from a large Company Christmas Party, 2/3 day Business meetings and evening meals. I have always liked the place, even though it often has areas that could do with an upgrade. It has a quality feel and is very competitively priced, so forgive any minor faults ..... in... More

Hotel located alongside the river Thames about a 20 minute walk from the centre of Maidenhead. Lovely gardens with plenty of tables and chairs. As I was travelling alone I had booked a single room and was pleasantly surprised at the size of it. So many single rooms are very small but this had a desk, wall mounted tv and... More

The hotel needs a lick of paint. There was no air-con though a fan was provided, though they advised you not to open the windows because of the insects on the river. It was 38 degrees at night, so had no sleep til the early hours. No porter so had to manage to get the suitcases to the top floor.... More

After a full day in Windsor, Thames riviera was just a short drive away. The price is very good for location, and the size of our family room was excellent. We ate at the restaurant attached which had a good menu and caters for children too. Also a petrol station and co-op just across road.
