Excellent value B & B in a great location, ideal for visiting Windsor and Eton. Spotlessly clean, great breakfast and free parking. Staff were really friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be visiting again.

What a charming place! The rooms were clean and had modern amenities despite being 300 years old. The floors were a little slanted which made walking around when tired pretty funny at times. The location is perfect for touring Windsor and bonus was having a free place to park! The breakfast was fresh and delicious and the pub was friendly...

Stayed here for a couple of days for our 1st wedding anniversary. Booked as per the reviews on here but i'm not sure it deserves no.1... The pub is full of period features giving it a certain character. The sloping floors and narrow stairs were no problem but creaky floorboards above were. Room was rather warm and we chose to...

Thank you for leaving some comments following your stay with us recently but apologies you felt there were some un-resolved issues…… With regards to the booking process, there are as you know many ways that you can secure your reservation. Brilliant pub, it is small but that adds to the charm. It has a jukebox which can be fun on a Saturday night at when they turn the music up. Situated not far from Eton bridge which takes you into the heart of Windsor! I haven't stayed at the B and B but staff are really friendly so can't see...

So pleased we found this little gem... staff went out of their way to ensure our stay was perfect, lovely room, comfy bed, good food, and very reasonable. Would not hesitate to recommend to friends and family, planning another stay later in the year.

This place is wonderful, its in a fantastic position to explore Windsor and Eton and its exactly as stated on their website which is rare indeed these days. It is full of character, which is fully in keeping with the age of the building, Quirky shapes and some uneven floors does not detract from the clean, comfy inviting rooms. We loved...

From all of the reviews we have had over the years, this stands out as an out of character one - not fitting in with what we have built up to. However, I would like to address the points that you mention We categorically state on our website that the building is old and thus original fittings - including steep...

Brilliantly located for Eton and Windsor this is a delightfully quirky B&B. If you don't like steep stairs and sloping floors you'd be better off in somewhere more conventional, but for us it was a great place to stay. Our room was clean and well decorated. We had an excellent night's sleep in a very comfortable bed with no traffic...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Crown and Cushion is a delightful pub with 8 en-suite rooms. It is pleasantly situated in Eton High Street, which is a stone's throw from Windsor. Situated in the picturesque setting of Eton High Street, we are surrounded by history. Dating back to the 1600’s, The Crown and Cushion has been an Inn since 1753. Just minutes walk from Windsor Castle and Eton College and a short drive away from various attractions including Legoland, Royal Ascot Racecourse and Cliveden House. Having recently been refurbished, The Crown and Cushion offers you good food and good accommodation at reasonable prices. We have eight en-suite rooms: 2 Kings, 5 Doubles and 1 compact double. Put up beds can be added if needed at no extra cost; please discuss this at time of booking. Continental and a full English breakfast is included. The building is full of character and is very quirky in places. Allegedly built from old ships timbers, some of the floors are wonky and lots of the floorboards are creaky – but that is what makes it charming! The rooms are situated over two floors so if you require a first floor room please mention at the time of booking and we will do our best. We have an unusual American theme and our aim is to make you feel as relaxed as possible and send you off happy whether you have just had a drink, meal or a whole night’s stay. There is an outside patio should you wish to eat or drink outside. All our food is available for takeaway if you don’t have time to stop or you want to eat at home. For our staying guests, parking is available on site but this is not unlimited and we therefore request that parking is allocated to one car per booking. We will try and accommodate any reasonable request from any of our customers so if you do have any special requirements then please just ask. We take bookings directly through our website. ... more   less
