We wanted to visit Stonehenge and the new visitor centre so chose this guest-house partly because of the superb reviews but also because it is within walking distance of the city and had a bus stop next to it. Steve and Kay's home is lovely, spotlessly clean, beautifully presented and very comfortable. Our light and airy bedroom faced the road... More

My husband and I stayed at Taylors Guesthouse in September 2014 on our last night in the UK, concluding a self-driving holiday around the UK & Ireland. Steve was very helpful, even printing our boarding passes for our flights the next day. He was able to suggest a couple of good pubs in Salisbury for dinner, which were within easy... More

Taylors Guesthouse is a nice B&B within walking distance to Salisbury town centre, the cathedral and riverside. (approx 30 mins walk - depending on which way you go and how fast you walk). The prettiest way is along the riverside - we walked both along the street and the riverside and both are easy but the latter is more picturesque.... More

Arrived earlier than anticipated but room was still ready for us, very clean with all the facilities we needed plus lovely biscuits. Steve was really helpful and gave us all the information we needed to make our way along the river into Salisbury town centre which was only about a 25min walk. Breakfast was also great with fresh fruit and... More

We were desperate to find a place and another hotel that was full suggested it. We were delighted with the room which was comfortable and a modern bathroom. Our hosts very generously moved their car to safely accommodate our motorcycles. Breakfast choices were terrific A very enjoyable stay.

Taylors Guesthouse is really 5 Star. It is located in Salisbury, England just a very short drive from Stonehenge and other historical sights. Parking was easy just outside the premises & outside the 'pay zone'. The guest room was large and very well appointed, with an extremely comfortable bed. The proprietors Steve & Kay were consummate hosts, and provided a... More

This guesthouse is a great find and will definitely visit again. We were made extremely welcome by friendly Kay & Steve. The room we stayed in (room 1) was lovely and bright, very modern and clean. The first place ever stayed in where you can actually get Wi-Fi in the room itself. Kay made lovely homemade biscuits each day. The... More

On the road between Southampton and Wales via Stonehenge, we found this perfect stopover. Very friendly and helpful hosts, perfectly clean rooms, and an excellent breakfast. The little path down next to the house allowed for a nice evening stroll along the river Avon. We wished we had some more time to visit Salisbury itself.
