Good location for access to the City but disappointing stay. A bathrobe and slippers doesn't make it 4 star. Room similar to a Premier Lodge overlooking car park with cars parked actually 2 feet from the bottom of our bed so little privacy. Breakfast good but restaurant, when used for dinner, lacked atmosphere with many items missing from the menu.... More

We have visited the hotel twice as we are hosting an event for a weekend in October, on both occasions we have had a lovely stay at the hotel. The staff are very helpful and polite. We have been given great service and assistance in organising our event, and have booked the whole of the hotel for the event. It... More

We chose this hotel for the proximity to the centre of Salisbury and the cathedral - which was great, and you definitely couldn't get better at only a 10 minute walk into town! Being so close to town, it does mean you're right next to a busy road but i guess that is a small price to pay. We did... More

Easy to find on the A345 on the northern side of Salisbury, Milford Hall Hotel is only about 10 minutes walk from the city centre and has good parking facilities. We had a good sized room, which was beautifully clean, a comfortable bed, the food was very nice and the staff have a really natural helpfulness and courtesy.

Booked a last minute night away break having taken advantage of the golden package this included a cream tea dinner each to value of £25 each and executive room and breakfast. Large free car park within minutes of town. Staff very friendly and helpful didn't use the spa but seemed popular. Room very clean and spacious was very impressed with... More

Managed to get a great Friday night deal through Secret Escapes.Room was a little tired but clean and with everything you needed. The staff had thoughtfully provided us with a super duper fan to cool the room as we stayed whilst England was having an unusual heatwave. We had a yummy cream tea with a glass of prosecco that afternoon... More

The hotel is well situated for the city and the rooms a good size. Although the menu appeared extensive the food itself was very disappointing. The mini fish supper was undercooked and had to be returned. We had arranged an early meal on the Saturday as we needed to leave for the theatre at 7.00 p.m. but it took 1.30... More

Great hotel with informal and courteous staff. The food was excellent with on site ingredients .My partner likes goats milk the breakfast waitress got some for the next morning. Room was lovely and the feel had touch of fairytale to it ... Really loved staying here

This is the sort of review where I wish I could give 3.5 out of 5 and it relates to the hotel only; we didn't use the restaurant or spa. There was nothing intrinsically wrong with our stay. The rooms were clean, the staff professional enough (if a little sullen) and the food palatable. But there was nothing special about... More

I stayed one night at Milford Hall. Arriving just after 8pm and was greeted by the receptionist who was very helpful and offered one of the staff to carry my bags to my room, that I declined. I found the room very comfortable and quiet and had one of the best nights sleep that I had away from home in... More
