Beautifully presented, tasting delicious and nicely served afternoon tea in the lounge today. It would have been perfect had the fire been lit. I was told when I booked that it wasn't cold enough 10c ° feels pretty cold to me. The staff were pleasant and all in all a lovely afternoon

The reception area is nice and the staff were very friendly. However the hotel is old and the floors are very creaky, not what you want when tying to get sleep and people are walking outside. Also the shower was poor and the heating was intermittent and noisy. Not a great night's sleep.

Stayed here for 2 nights for a Friends wedding that was in the Saturday and even though we had a good experience I wish I'd booked the travel lodge for 3/4 of the price. Booking in was straight forward, quick and the staff were friendly. The reception area was clean, open and had a warm feel about it, there was...

Just a single night stay in room 106; a classic room in the newer part of the hotel (1970's maybe). Pleasant greeting on arrival and a super quick checkin which was nice. The room was a reasonable size, nice and clean and the bed very comfy. Unfortunately what we didn't realise till when we got back from the birthday celebration...

I went to Salisbury only for one night on a business visit. It is a small town and the hotel is well located, close to the cathedral and all the local amenities. As I was there for one night and being there only for business I can say the hotel was just fine. The staff was excellent and they’ve made...

Well located historic coaching Inn in the centre of Salisbury. Friendly helpful staff checked me into a room at the back overlooking the car park. Large comfortable bed, well equipped room. Parts of the hotels furnishings are a little tired. No lift to upper floors. Lovely huge buffet breakfast but pricey!

The hotel has a traditional look and feel both inside and out, but this is a very good thing indeed. The rooms are comfortable, the beds are great in comfort and size, the shower has loads of hot water, the room temperature is easily adjusted. In short, all you need. The breakfast is very nice, notably having excellent slice-your-own brown...
