I knew this was a budget option when I booked so I wasn't expecting anything special but this place plumbed new depths of grimness. It is quite frankly below any acceptable standard of any B&B accommodation, budget or not. The problems are systemic, not isolated. I could go through everything that was wrong with it but I will stick to...

We stayed here because we typed in the postcode to find something close to the venue of a concert we attended on the second bank holiday of May. The room itself was fine- we were lucky enough to have the 2 rooms which were not communial bathrooms (on the top floor) breakfast was edible, we always had enough breakfast! When...

This place was so bad I ended up driving to Nottingham to stay with friends rather than stay here a single night. At check-in, when I asked to use their loo before moving my car, I was shown to a bathroom that looked like a student nightmare: flies buzzing around, black mould growing and dust/hair all over. I thought my...

What a nightmare. Have just been reading other reviews on this site and I completely agree with everything awful that everybody else has said. Obviously it has gone drastically downhill since any good reviews were written. Main problems... how long have you got..... filthy rooms, dangerous electrics, no towels, not enough beds(which we had been promised would be there) no...

Well where do i start. When we arrived, thought i was entering the adams familys house. Then she took us to our room, this is when she told us there was no lights on the second floor. there was a power cut, as you can imagine dark small landings with small narrow stairs, was not good. Then going into both...

I have never had such an awful experience! Not only is this hotel dirty - room hadnt been cleaned, dust everywhere, mould in the shower etc some of my belongings went missing during my stay. The management team were very unhelpful and had a negative attitude when I complained that some of my belongings were not in my room. I...

Our friend had booked this hotel after finding it on the internet and we booked directly with them over the phone and gave our credit card details. We should have known when our friend checked in in the morning and immediately phoned us to tell us to find somewhere else. We didn't have time to find anywhere else and it...
