I stayed here with 7 other friends for a night out. We had 4 out of the 8 rooms, within 5 minutes of arriving we had to get a room change as 1 of the rooms looked and smelt like it hadn't been cleaned in a year. All 4 rooms weren't the cleanest as there was dust all over everything,... More

Rude staff on arrival, really dodgy stair case up to bedrooms, carpet not hoovered, most uncomfortable nights sleep I've had in years. Terrible pillows. No breakfast. Overpriced. No checkout possible. Exit through back alley fire escape. There are no good things about this hotel. Apauling all round. Mouse droppings in the corner of the room. Totally disgusting. Very disappointed. Will... More

This was my second visit for afternoon tea and cocktails, and wasn't disappointed. The sandwiches were fresh and very tasty not shy with the fillings, The cakes were delicious and plenty of them the cocktails served in a teapot with cup and saucer is a brilliant idea, the lady that served us was fantastic she had a brilliant sense of... Had been to the theatre and, as we usually do, called into the Wrens for a couple of drinks. The bar wasn't overly busy but quite a few people were in watching Euro 2016. Once the game had finished people started to leave but no mention of the bar closing so we ordered another drink. It got to 10.40 and... More

I can't believe the review below me stayed in the same hotel as my friend and I did. Room 5 & 6 were awful damp on walls black mould on Windows. Very shabby and the beds were hard. My headboard in room 5 had greased hair marks where dust had collected on it. Small steep narrow staircase through heavy fire... More

I bought a English tea from Groupon so a friend and I attended. The food itself was top quality and very friendly service from the staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our cocktail tea which included sandwiches, cherry scones and door stopper sized cakes. *we took a doggy bag home as we couldn't manage it all!
