Had been to the theatre and, as we usually do, called into the Wrens for a couple of drinks. The bar wasn't overly busy but quite a few people were in watching Euro 2016. Once the game had finished people started to leave but no mention of the bar closing so we ordered another drink. It got to 10.40 and... More

Never ever will or would I stay here again. I read a number of reviews and trusted them - busy hotel weekend in Leeds - party city, Triathlon same weekend, I was going to Barry Manilow concert - so rooms were hard to come by - £75 for a room each for myself and friend - no available breakfast at... I can't believe the review below me stayed in the same hotel as my friend and I did. Room 5 & 6 were awful damp on walls black mould on Windows. Very shabby and the beds were hard. My headboard in room 5 had greased hair marks where dust had collected on it. Small steep narrow staircase through heavy fire... More

We stayed in room 8, nice big room, nice big bathroom with his and hers sinks, lovely big power shower, well stocked teas maid, great staff, a few mins walk to first direct arena, would stay again, can reccommend, no parking but parked in 24hr carpark a few mins walk and had breakfast in centre, hotel perfect location :-)

I bought a English tea from Groupon so a friend and I attended. The food itself was top quality and very friendly service from the staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our cocktail tea which included sandwiches, cherry scones and door stopper sized cakes. *we took a doggy bag home as we couldn't manage it all!

Central location. If it cost £40 it would be worth a rating of 3 but for room only at £65 this is poor value and low quality. It is a pub with rooms not a hotel. There is no reception other than at the pub bar. No food (but a brilliant Indian restaurant two blocks away). My en suite had... More

Have never stayed here before , but very limited availability on booking.com On arrival in bar area all seems ok, albeit a couple of loud slightly drunk regulars . Given my key and openly announced which room number I was In( I stay away every week on business every hotel up and down the country writes the room number down... More

This is in a brilliant location. Due to the location you are bound to have some noise. But if you book a city centre hotel it isn't going to be quiet. This hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly. The room was huge. Yes, it was a little dated but it was spotless. The bathroom was clean and... More
