This was a Groupon afternoon tea. I took my mum to cheer her up. The staff were very friendly. We sat down and they were quiet a while brining the food. We were brought the cocktails menu advice we got one in a teapot. After looking st the menu there was nothing we liked so settled for coffee. The food...

The Wrens is under new management. We were pleasantly surprised by the comfy beds and the downstairs bars. After a really nice afternoon tea we were speaking to the new manager and he informed us that future plans were to upgrade the hotel rooms. It was handy for the Arena and shopping and for £55.00 per room in a city...

Had an excellent afternoon tea then went over the road to watch Chicago at the Grand, Returning ti the Wrens spent a pleasant evening in the cocktail Ba. The room was clean and tidy service was good. The choice of cocktails made the evening interesting. Highly recommend the Wrens

We visited with a Groupon voucher yesterday for afternoon tea. We have had some lovely afternoon teas elsewhere but im afraid on the scale of this we would have to rate this 1 at most. It was terrible. We arrived and left to an almost empty pub. We looked for someone to receive us and found the waitress in the...

Booked here for one Saturday night, I can honestly say I never been so disgusted in my life. The room was simply uninhabitable, absolutely filthy, stained sheets and bed, mould in the shower, human hair everywhere. We did not even bother staying and paid £30 to get a taxi home. Avoid at all costs.

Do not stay here. I did not hang around to spend a night in dirty stained beds. Plenty more choice in a place like Leeds. No breakfast or evening meals available either, despite lots of photos of food. Not just tired or old, but just plain filthy.

Booked this as no other rooms available for a concert night. Looks rough on the outside, and it doesn't improve much on the inside. The rooms are like a doss house, shower curtain was black with mould. Our room was at the front, so had all the night club and late bar noise till 4am. Staff stressed out and very...

Booked purely for location (5 mins walk from fd arena), which was great for our concert but think I would accept a slightly longer walk, for a better hotel next time. Not as nice as it looks on the website! Rooms were up a steep, staircase (tricky to negotiate with luggage) No staff on site unless the downstairs bar is...

Hot and uncomfortable rooms. Convenient location to town centre but no parking. Owner doesn't drive so couldn't direct us to nearby parking. Nightmare. Wouldn't return despite price. Invest in a higher price room. You get what you pay for.

Avoid at all costs! Rooms were dirty beyond belief, the shower clearly hadnt see a cleaner in months, relying on one visit and no return, trust me they wont see us again. 50 yards from the Theatre and such a shame.
