My wife and I only used the Hotel for the room and found it excellent. The room was spacious, clean and the beds comfortable plus the usual Wi-Fi, Freeview TV,Safe,Coffee and Tea. The heated underfloor in the bathroom was a bonus appreciated with my wife. The staff were helpful and friendly and the hotel was dog friendly. Excellent value for...

Our second stay, following two previous functions at the hotel. The Milford Hotel is in an excellent location for our purposes, but would be our choice of place to stay regardless of that. Genuinely friendly and welcoming.

Found a long dark hair on my pillow and then numerous other hairs in the bathroom when attempting to have a bath. Aside from that the room was nice enough, a little smaller than it looks on the pictures. We were woken up in the morning by what I could only presume were the cleaners, talking very loudly outside on...

The hotel is looking into this feedback and will be investigating the comments raised by this customer. Negative responses such as this are taken very seriously and the hotel is very keen to ensure these kinds of reviews do not re-occur, we pride ourselves on much better standards than mentioned in this review.

My colleague and I meet here a couple of times a year for a business meeting and are always treated well. We have teas/coffees throughout the day and don't need to book a meeting room although if we want to use wifi there is a £5 charge. Parking if free and the hotel is easily accessible for the motorway so...

I've stayed in this area (work/business) for many years and tried pretty much all the hotels in a 10-mile radius. This hotel used to be dire. But it has clearly spent a lot of money, time and effort on refurbishing, restaffing and reinventing itself - and as some of the other recent reviews say, it is "a surprising gem". I...

We stayed here for a couple of Nights in January 2017 and took advantage of a free room upgrade. I Booked direct with the hotel and had a nice surprise when checking in when presented with a voucher for a free drink at the bar for booking direct. The Executive room was spotlessly clean and very roomy. Bath robe and...

I wasn't expecting much from this hotel in all honesty and was really surprised at the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The rooms, while traditional, were very comfortable. There was plenty of room and the beds were soft and well padded. The rooms were also very quiet. We have booked to stay again and are looking forward to it.

Enjoyable stay with young puppy. Staff friendly and helpful. Our room was on the ground floor and near fire exit for letting the puppy out. Night porter was very friendly even at 4am. Bed very comfortable and huge. Will definitely stay again.
