I stayed here on a David Urquhart trip to the Emmerdale studios. My room was clean and well furnished, with a comfortable bed. The meals were excellent, well presented and delicious. The staff were all really nice and very helpful. The bar prices were very reasonable. Some people complained of too much road noise, but it is located well for... More

Hotel tatty but clean and comfortable. Food good for the price we paid. We didn't like the set time for meals. One night it was 5:30, and were literally told off being 2 mins early! Hard to believe? It's true! Breakfast was then at 9! No where to go outside the hotel without a £10 taxi into Leeds. £10 back.... More

We were given a room on the 5th floor. The room was very dated, the furniture was tatty and the carpet was dirty. The only heating was from a small radiator under the window. When we got back to the room at 1.00am the heating was off and as it was November the room was freezing. We phoned reception and... More

The rooms require refurbishing, the showers do not work very well at all, The towels are awful as well. The food was ok and you had a good choice for your evening meal and your breakfast. The drinks at the bar were very reasonable priced for an hotel apart from having to queue for around 10-15,mins, they do not have... More

Well, is this the worst place I have stayed in - if not it's certainly very close! Booked here for three nights as I had a business trip to this area of Leeds. I stay all over the county and abroad in reasonably priced hotels for business purposes but this place has inspired me to vent some anger! Where to... More

Cheap hotel, and as they say you get what you pay for. Rooms are in need of a refurb. The bedding was clean and the room was warm, my friend and I only wanted somewhere to meet up for a girly shopping trip to Leeds. Now to the staff or lack of them. On our first night we headed to... More

Looks like a hostel inside once you get up to the corridors where the rooms are its very old fashioned and all of the doors need a good paint. The breakfast was definitely not worth the money and hardly anything left no matter what time you seem to go they just don't bother to replenish anything. Reception lady was very... More

Spent 3 nights here last week as part of national coach holidays. Check in speedy, room lovely - spotless and we were able to control heating. Meals were lovely in both quality and quantity. Breakfasts had fruits, cereals, porridge, full English including black pudding- hooray- toast croissants etc. All self service including jugs of tea and coffee on each table.... More
