Stayed in Leeds for 2 nights at the Discovery Inn. Room was basic but clean. Tea and coffee provided, small bathroom with shower but lots of hot water. The location was spot on, a couple of minutes walk from the train station and less than 5 minutes to walk into main shopping areas. There is car parking available at a... More

The hotel is cosy and rooms on the 2nd floor are clean, quite large with bathroom en suite and equipped of kettle for tea and coffee. The location is great: in front of the train station. The man at the reception gently reserved us a taxi when asked for. If we'll go to Leeds again, we will certainly return at... More

I had a short business trip using this hotel. It is basic and adequate but there are no frills. However, this is compensated for by the extremely helpful and very friendly staff who are very willing to provide help.

The on line booking experience was straight forward and simple. The hotel it self was easy to find. Although it does not have its own carpark. There are many within a reasonable walking distance. The location is central to the city. There are many resturants, shops and bars, within easy reach. The welcome at the hotel was great. The staff... More

After reading some reviews I was a little worried about staying here but I shouldn't have been. Staff are lovely and nothing is too much trouble for them. Room was clean, bedding was clean, shower wasn't great pressure wise but it done its job, as I was on the 6th floor the wifi wasn't the strongest, can't complain about the... More

Disappointing. As others have mentioned, to reach higher floors you have to take 2 lifts that are nowhere near each other and walk a considerable distance down a maze of corridors. The building is old and corridors have a peculiar smell; there is no air-con; the windows are old, ill-fitting single-glazed sash windows and even the secondary windows inside do... More

We chose this hotel for its location and very good value. We were surrounded by places to eat in and opposite the bus stop to catch the Tiger bus to the cricket. The hotel is clean and our room was fine. Plenty of space, a comfortable bed, a desk, storage space and a good bathroom. The various reception staff were... More
