We found Hinsley Hall was a very good, budget place to stay overnight while we visited Leeds University. The attractive building is located in spacious, peaceful grounds with ample parking. Headingley shops, restaurants and bars are within easy walking distance and Leeds University is only a short bus ride away. We were allowed to leave our car at the hotel...

All the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the Scottish lady on reception. The room was adequate and kept clean and tidy with towels changed daily. The breakfast was very good. My train got delayed and I arrived at this venue at 10.30pm. There was no-one on reception and I couldn't get in - I rang and no-one answered. As a female by myself I was extremely worried and I was on my own and had no where to go. Eventually I had to order a taxi and get back into...

We appreciate Jean C's comments and I have been in contact with her, discussed the matter and hopefully resolved it so that she will be using Hinsley Hall again in the future. Her comments highlighted how we could improve our wording on the Booking.com. website and this is in the proccess of being done.

Just come back from here! We booked it through booking .com as it was close to Harewood Hall which we wanted to visit! It was great for location. The place looks like a beautiful Victorian Mansion however from the moment you go through the doors it looked like my aunts care home! The place is a religious retreat and this...

We were visiting Leeds for a concert in Millennium Square and had left our accommodation booking too late to get the usual city centre Ibis type option. What a blessing in disguise that was. This isn't a hotel as such but a Catholic centre with multiple bedrooms....
