Reviews Summary
This summary was created by AI, based on recent reviews.
Powered by AI
Easy Hotel Leeds is frequently commended for its prime central location, which guests find to be a highlight, despite other shortcomings. Cleanliness is generally praised, although the small room size and occasional cleanliness slip-ups have been called out. The staff at Easy Hotel Leeds have earned positive remarks for their helpfulness and friendliness, yet there have been instances where service was seen as lacking. Many travelers find the basic amenities and additional costs disappointing, leading to a prevalent view that the hotel does not offer good value for the price.

Booked here as attending a concert at the arena...said was 10min walk away with parking. It was nightmare to find due to the city having so many roadworks and now pedestrian roads, which this is on. Parking is actually a few streets away that they give you a discount for . But as couldn't find it we went back to the Arena NCP for the night. The staff were super friendly and helpful, especially the young guy on duty last night, didnt catch his name sadly. Our room for 3 adults was OK for a night but no longer. It was quite dark, despite having a small window looking onto a brick wall, that you couldn't open. The beds were rock hard and each only had one pillow of varying sizes, should've asked for more maybe. There was nowhere else for us all to sit except on the bed opposite the TV ,despite space enough for a chair/table. There's no tea/coffee in room but a machine in foyer at £2 a cup. Had to leave case on floor and couldn't unpack as the wall mounted 2 fixed hangers took our coats and no room for any other clothing. The bathroom, though functional, was tiny with half frosted glass doors onto the bedroom. Not much space to put toiletries and couldn't hang towels anywhere. Some maintenance to bathroom needed .Despite when other customers came in it was quiet for being so central to town which is it's only advantage. The cost of £130 for what was in the room was steep.

First of all people need to be aware this is a budget city centre hotel designed for a short stay. Rooms basic with bed, bathroom and tv and plug sockets. Some rooms don’t have an open window but you can still see outside. The bed is a standard double bed. In our opinion the bed was rather firm which wasn’t to our liking but that is just personal preference but not sure if this is across all rooms or not. Room was spotlessly clean and tidy but be aware unless you want it cleaned everyday it will only be cleaned when leaving unless you pay a fee for this. Reception staff always pleasant, friendly and helpful. Hotel location is very central and everything within a short walking distance. The hotel is on a pedestrianised street so parking is at a near by car park. Hotel doesn’t offer breakfast but plenty of places within a short walking distance to get this. Overall a good stay for a short break if looking for quick and convenient. If you are wanting luxury this hotel would not be for you.

To be honest, you genuinely get what you pay for in life, and this is no different. The hotel is tucked down a side street off the main road through the centre, so location wise, it's fantastic. However, I had travelled 3 and a half hours with work for a conference the next day, so I didn't arrive until 20:15. Upon check in, I was greeted by a very rude woman who demanded a credit card from me. I explained I had nothing on me as this was booked through work (Click Travel account) and they booked for me. The woman just demanded a card in my name. I started to advise her that I had an email with the company booking/card information but she kindly stated "I don't care about your emails, I can refuse the booking". Never the less, my emails loaded and she took the card presented on this. The room itself was terrible. I was in a small box room, no window, a disabled open bathroom with a broken shower head. The air con was good. The TV wasn't used....the way it is mounted makes it fair unusable anyway...and I just wanted a sleep. The bed was actually alright and the duvet was ok. I was provided with a towel....there is literally nothing in the room, so don't expect coffee/teas etc and there is no on site bar/restaurant for breakfast. If you do want a coffee, you can pay £2 per cup downstairs but you have to bring your own cup....or buy one of theirs for £7 which is reusable and branded with the hotel. Check out was via the "express" box - pop a key In it and off you go. The young lady on the reception desk was too busy on her phone to even acknowledge me. You can request an iron, but they time you on it, so best get it ASAP. Overall, I had a good sleep, a terrible shower, really terrible customer service, no amenities, a good location and awful check in experience. However, at £40-70 a night in a city centre, it is what it is. 2 * from me.

Basic but functional and good value for money at £42 for a double with window. Can't complain at that price. However would I pay the weekend rates at £90+? No, it's not worth that. My ceiling had been damaged at some point and needed a proper repair really. Also hard floor rather than carpet (I personally find carpet more pleasant)

Great location. Very cheap. Spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed. Pleasant check in person. Room is tiny. No way was my "double room" fit for 2 people. The bed was a single x 1.33 at the most. The gap between bed and wall was less than 12 inches. Temperature conrol was excellent. There was no window - which to be fair my booking made clear. Shower room had a floor towel of the same material as the "bath towel". Strange gurgling noise through the night which i think was water/drainage. Whats the verdict? Its cheap, clean and centrai. Expect nothing else.
