We this on line on the Friday night saying there was one room remaining and decided if we could get the room we would go as never been to this area of Yorkshire before, I rang direct and luckily got the room, the weather was not too bad when we arrived, we were a little early for booking in so... The only down side was the smaller menu than normal but the quality of food makes you forget that, rather have quality food over a bigger menu. Good price for the quality of food too an nice relaxed atmosphere around the place

We booked a room at the Old Silent Inn for a one night stay near Haworth. The location is fabulous, on a country road with breath-taking views. We were warmly received and shown to a charming room. The fireplace was a nice touch, though the bathroom was very cramped. We thoroughly enjoyed the walk to and from Haworth.

Staff very friendly and welcoming, but rooms small and a little tired and service needs significant improvement. Stayed 2 nights but room not cleaned after 24 hours, teacups not washed, no replenishment of tea/coffee. Scalding (literally!!) hot water from taps and shower could easily cause nasty burns. Nowhere by sink to put shaving kit etc and no soap by sink... More

On holiday in Haworth, lunch Friday. Disappointed on the menu not being more adventuresome, in fact not a great difference to those on Main Street, Haworth. Very quiet with just a handful of diners, first impressions was it resembled a stately home more than a Hotel and up market Restaurant. All the research led me to believe Old Peculier was... More

Great food, great service, wonderful scenery and will be back very soon! Have taken visitors on several occasions and have never been disappointed. Recommended to friends who stayed for three nights last weekend. They could not sing the Silent Inns praises loudly enough!

We stayed here for one Sunday evening, meeting up with friends for dinner and then heading into Haworth for the Gin Festival. The landlord was very helpful on the phone with the booking process and when we arrived the staff were very busy as it was Easter Sunday afternoon, but they were polite and helpful and very, very friendly. It... More

Such a shame given the description on line and the lovely staff. Unfortunately, Room 5 is in much need of some TLC. The room itself nice, but small and cramped with unnecessary over-size furniture. Lovely fireplace even though we didn't use it. No room to walk around one side of the bed on the window side The main issue with... More
