Stayed here with a friend on a Saturday night. The reception is a self service area with tablets, but there is staff on hand to help. Our booking couldn’t be found but the lady there was quick to sort it. We were given an executive room on the 4th floor which was lovely and contemporary, great style. Modern bathroom with rain shower a toiletries. We had bathrobes and slippers to use too as well as tea and coffee facilities. There were no normal teabags just fruit tea but we range reception and they brought some up quickly. Comfy king size bed. View of the city which was lovely. We had a drink at the bar, prices were just normal hotel prices, more than a pub. We also had food which was fab. Slow service at the bar to order food and drink but the woman serving was training so could understand that. There’s a garden you can sit in to eat and drink and it was lovely weather so we enjoyed that. Staff were all lovely and helpful. Health club pool and steam room etc was good for a visit. Would definitely stay here again.

Myself and a colleague were booked in to share a room at this hotel. ***WARNING ABOUT THE PARKING*** Make sure you register your car reg as a hotel guest (it costs!!) and if you leave the property and come back you need to re-register it. ***WARNING ABOUT PAYMENT OPTIONS*** Despite advertising they take Amex - it won’t work. Luckily I had another card available 🙄 However - the room was lovely - clean, and the smart tv easily outshone my one at home. Tea and coffee in the room. Excellent shower and the towels were super fluffy! Iron and (not very powerful) hairdryer available. Lots and lots of plug sockets available (yay for phone charging) The staff were friendly and well-meaning, even if I was misinformed about the parking on checkin - the lady checking me out assured me they can cancel any fine issues with a quick call.... we’ll see on that point. The breakfast was ok - typical cooked options, fresh fruit option was melon, grapefruit and prunes, cereals, yoghurt, pastries and bread - not a bad selection at all for £10 per head. Other than the payment and parking my only other negative was the noise - you could hear plugs being put in, shower curtains being pulled and other peoples alarms going off. I still thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would stay again.

Booked in to the cedar court hotel for one night, We was out celebrating a family event for the day and evening. When We got in around 2am we wanted one more drink before bed. The night manager was very rude to my dad. And said he was closing the bar and not serving us. After me mentioning that it was a 24hr bar he said he was the manager and could do what he wanted.. after speaking to him he finally served us and said 1 drink and that’s it. The guy had a very bad attitude and looked liked he obviously hated his job. But he shouldn’t take it out on paying customers!! Especially when we hadn’t done anything wrong! Otherwise the hotel and rest of the staff we great! But 3 stars instead of 5 because of a rude night shift manager!!

Just stayed here after a local business booked it for us, looking at reviews beforehand if it was down to me I’d never book it but went along with low expectations, Check in self service same as checkout and breakfast no staff were seen it’s self serve so as far as customer service very much lacking certainly but not an issue. Room I gotta say I was impressed mainly because of low expectations but very clean and well furnished especially a huge tv a nice touch and a power shower a big thumbs up, sadly the bed was one of the worst I’d ever slept in I’m sure the floor would have been comfier so for this reason serious lack of sleep and waking feeling like I’d done a gym workout 3 stars is best I could rate it. Breakfast we ate at 9am room was very quiet and the food on the self serve was dry and looking sad but for £10 no big drama and as it’s not cooked to order it’s the best your going to get. All in all not somewhere I’d ever stay but if you want a cheap stop off it’s great.

The first picture on this hotel could have been my room. But the biggest but lovely. I had an exec room which had a great comfy bed. I love the use of recycled timbers for the headboard and desk. Great look and feel. Bathroom albeit small was very well appointed. 49" t.v. wow but very poor selection of channels but was smart tv so you could log in with your Netflix or prime details. Just remember to log out as a previous guest didn't But service was lousy. I didn't feel welcomed. Greeting was 'checking in?' Whatever happened to hello? Nothing about breakfast, where its served, food, bar times, WiFi nothing. It's a good job it was a nice hotel but reception staff need a good lesson in service
