The Premier Inn Chichester South (Gate Leisure Park) Hotel is often recognized for its comfortable rooms and tranquil atmosphere, making it a haven for rest-seeking guests. Its location is a hit among visitors, offering easy access to local dining options and the city center, although it's situated in a retail area.
While the hotel receives accolades for cleanliness and room comfort, opinions are split regarding the value, with some guests finding the additional charges and amenities, such as Wi-Fi and breakfast, less satisfactory. The staff's friendly demeanor is acknowledged, even as some guests experience slow service at meals.

Hotel's Favorite
I was attending a wedding nearby, I just needed a room for the night.
Staff were really friendly. I couldn't get an 'early check in' as no rooms available. But the lovely receptionist came and told me, whilst I was about to use the ground floor toilets - that a room had come available. So I was thrilled to be able to check in early (the hotel didn't charge me extra). Nice gesture.
Hotel was easy to park at. Room was lovely, clean and quiet - over looking the car park. (so I could see my car below).
All super price, easy and just what I needed on this trip.

So glad that this branch of Premier Inn has re-opened after lockdown, as we were visiting relatives over the weekend and decided to stop over and look around Chichester. We were very lucky to have brilliant hot weather all weekend, so to be able to retreat to a lovely comfortable air conditioned room at the end of the day was great. Such brilliant value for money, and every precaution taken to make everything covid compliant without making things feel too weird. (Well done to the management for making the decision to keep proper mugs in the rooms and not paper cups). We did read that the restaurant was still closed, but there are some nice pubs open in the town for meals which we booked a table at. Let's hope more businesses open up again soon, and that people have the confidence to start using them again. We have always found Premier Inn to be really comfortable and their rooms very well appointed and this one didn't disappoint, we would definitely stay again.

We have stayed in this hotel many times before and like it for its proximity to Chichester and West Wittering Beach. The room smelled fresh and clean . The restaurant/ bar area is closed. We booked two rooms one for one night and another for two nights. Although we didn’t mind that our room was not serviced it would have been helpful to receive clear notice of this before or on arrival. We had to ask for toilet paper/ teabags etc. Also there was no instruction as to where to dispose of rubbish. This is not meant as a criticism but more of a hint to help future residents. We asked for additional towels and were given a crisp white carrier bag with large v white fluffy towels . We felt that social distancing and every precaution to protect guests and staff had been made. Chichester is quiet at the moment but pub gardens are open and a few good restaurants . Make sure you book first. Well done premier inn for opening up and making us feel that we have taken the first steps back to normality with our long weekend break with family.

This was our first stay in a Premier Inn and we were impressed by how well worked out the whole enterprise is. For a very reasonable price, you get a decent sized room with everything that you need in it, including a small, but well designed bathroom. The meal deal is also very good value, providing a decent evening meal, including a pint of beer, and a substantial breakfast.

We enjoyed our two night stay at Chichester Premier Inn. There was plenty of hand sanitiser on entering the hotel and breakfast room and social distancing measures worked well. Breakfast was served to us at the table rather than buffet style which worked fine. All staff were pleasant, courteous and helpful.

One of the hand sanitizer bottles was empty when I arrived.
My room appeared clean but as i went around with my own alcohol wipes i found significant gunge/mess on and around the toilet and sink.
I went out to dinner and upon my return BOTH bottles of hand sanitizer were empty.
Breakfast was OK but i noticed that while staff sanitised tables between customers, the plastic menus were just passed from table to table. Dust on the window sills was thick enough to write in and the top of lamps had mess left behind from when the restaurant was last decorated (maybe earlier this year?).
Overall very disappointed with the general care of cleaning.

We have stayed in many Premier Inns and are usually always our first choice, but we were very disappointed with this stay. The hotel smelt damp. On arrival our room wasn’t cleaned properly, large black hair in the bath, no bin, I found the back of an earring on the floor. only one set of pillows and towels. We stayed for 2 nights, and after returning from our day out on the second night we discovered the room had not been made up, the bed was not made, no clean towels and no tea, coffee etc. We had booked breakfast but they had no record of that so they had to squeeze us in on a small table in the bar area. The young guy was working on his own, he done a great job doing 3 peoples work but there was a lack of plates, cups, & juices. The hotel £350 for 2 nights, at that price I expected much better

Stayed over with colleagues, arrived first night and went into restaurant and sat down at a table to be told don’t think we have a table as we have a big party in. There were 2 other people in the restaurant so I replied that we were paying guests had a meal deal and were staying put. The meal was rushed and not pleasant and the staff were not friendly or helpful . The breakfast was ok however all the bananas were black and apples soft . The next day I asked my support colleague to contact the hotel to complain . The manager was in that day and agreed to refund the meal costs and we decided not to go with the meal deal for the 2nd night . When I went back to the hotel she was again very apologetic about the previous day and listened to my concerns. Thank you for listening to me and your swift response . Such a shame your team let you down when you were not there .

I came here with my family for a nice little holiday! The hotel was very nice and modern and well prepared for coronavirus restrictions. The breakfast at the hotel was very nice, you can choose between continental and cooked breakfast. The continental breakfast was £5.99 and the cooked breakfast was £8.99.
The rooms were spacious and had facilities to connect up your laptop to the television.
The hotel was literally a 5 minute walk away from the town centre and was surrounded by lots of restaurants like Nando’s, Taco Bell, McDonalds and more. There is also a cinema, bowling alley and a Trampoline Park.
Overall my experience at this hotel during the coronavirus restrictions was excellent and I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone wanting a getaway to Chichester!

This Premier Inn was just a few minutes away from the town centre and a short walk from the railway station. As usual clean and comfortable. the friendly staff organised taxies whenever we needed one and supplied Costa Coffee for me to take to my room. We dined in the restaurant both nights we were there, food was great and the staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast was included, cooked to order, which we prefer to food kept heated. (not always possible with the bigger Premiers). Overall a wonderful visit with ultra-comfy beds.

Hi, the beds at Premier Inn are usually very high. The one we had was quite high to just be careful getting out if you’re a bit smaller.
that should be 6th and 7th Feb 2021.
We were on the first floor but did not have a wet room, still the old fashioned bath with shower over. Not sure about ground floor rooms though.
