£160 for a very tired bedroom with bare basics by a main road and with a poor bathroom seemed bad value for money. There was nobody on reception in arrival and I had to ask people to find out how to check in. The water ran into the bath very slowly and the shower screen allowed water to get onto... More

We booked a Sunday Special which meant we needed to spend £80 in restaurant to get a great value hotel room. We were not disappointed! The dinner (and wine) in the restaurant were fantastic with wonderful service. We arrived straight from the beach at West Wittering with 2 dogs in two, we were welcomed fantastically and shown to a lovely... More

Travelling to the Chichester area to attend a wedding in Siddlesham, I booked a stay at Crouchers Hotel. Having perused their website, I took their advice and made my booking by phone so that I could have a room which met my specific requirements. The receptionist was very helpful and assured me that they had a room which would suit. Having... More

For an afternoon cream tea at £15 this was bog standard and totally unimaganitive. There are lots of places including in and around London that do it much better. I would not recommend Crouchers. The staff were delightful and helpful but not great with English.

Nice hotel but I had a couple of issues. Could not connect to wifi at all in room despite hotel trying to be helpful and offering 2 networks but neither worked; being on a business stay this is an issue for me. Restaurant – very mixed. Amuse bouche and starter were really very good – but my mains was inedible,... More

Thank you for your feedback on your recent business stay. We did have wi fi problems. A motorist crashed into and knocked down the telephone pole on the property across the road. Our phone lines are fed from that pole. Sadly the repair was not finished correctly and the phone line was on the ground over the next properties entrance.... More

We made an impromptu stay at this hotel whilst visiting the beaches at Wittering. We had our two border collies with us. We stayed in a lovely room - comfortable and clean - and had dinner in the restaurant which was truly delicious. We could have sat outside with the dogs if we had wanted. Breakfast was brilliant. The staff... More

Room was spacious and quiet. The bed was comfortable and large. We have eaten many times at the restaurant and as usual the food was excellent. The staff were welcoming and helpful when we had questions.

I have been staying at Crouchers on a regular basis for many years now and there is nowhere like it - tranquil, impeccable, cosy, clean, extremely friendly and helpful staff. Views from the garden rooms are stunning, gardens always maintained beautifully and excellent service

I stayed at Crouchers on business during July 2016. The best thing about the hotel and restaurant were the staff. Those I encountered were, without exception, friendly, helpful and a credit to the establishment. I always ask for a quiet room as for health reasons I have to sleep in the middle of the day. The room was generally quiet... More

Nice enough hotel, but didn't feel we had value for money for a one night stay. Couldn't order drink at the bar because computers weren't working. Staff in bar looked like they just wanted to get home. Bar closed promptly, which was a bit frustrating as we were attending a family get together. Room was a little cramped. No iron.... More
