I have stayed in rooms around Chichester, West Dean, Funtington and Chichester itself. However being North of Chichester means very quick travel to town rather than getting stuck in Portsmouth or Bognor, East or West bound traffic jams on busy A27. The rooms are fairly basic but comfortable , there is no mobile signal, but wifi fine for WhatsAp and... More

Let me say again from the start this is not a luxury hotel. The rooms are converted garage and outbuildings but the price refects that. If you want luxury then you can pay over double the price somewhere else. For me Grandwood is perfect for when I am working in the area. The electric gates give secure parking so I... More

Needs a jolly good refurbishment. Too many spiders round the ceiling. Also very hard to find as sat nav takes you somewhere else. Bed was very comfortable and breakfast was good. Would not stay here again. Ithink the trouble is it needs some extra help, it Is one man trying to do everything by himself.

Really... AA star rating and you can't supply a vat receipt a scribbled hand written one. Dodgy or what. On arrival you can't find it and if you pull up to the electric gates in the drive the car hangs into a main a road. Then the dreaded garage conversion what a joke it stinks of mould the towels are... More

Stayed for 1 night in the garage conversion, no Wifi or phone coverage here and away from main house. Only one chair, TV is high up on the wall so I tried to lay on bed but impossible to watch high over left shoulder and a crick in the neck if in the chair. Very quiet so a good nights... More

This place was so hard to find, the sat nav stopped us in the wood further up the road. We drove backwards and forwards for a while and with no phone coverage could not phone the owner for more detailed directions. We finally found the place, only to find that we were in an outbuilding - a converted garage I... More

We would just like to say Chris is a great host, really nice place to stay with our two dogs they loved the space in the garden to run around and play. Yes the rooms are a bit basic but when you have dogs that's what you want, the room was clean the bed comfy the shower hot. Yes we... More

Booked a room here for a date 6 months in advance. Unfortunately needed to cancel it 5 days later. Asked for a refund - No! Eventually Bookers.com managed to negotiate a 50% refund. Hotel owners would not respond to my emails. No communication at all. I would not stay there if you paid me!

This house is set in a beautiful area and convenient for what we wanted, but it is definitely not up to a 4* BandB. There was considerable mould on the ceiling around the bay window; the blinds were broken in places and did not fit the Windows and the whole room could have done with a good clean.
