Visited for Sunday lunch. Waited over 1 hour for the main course which was the only course ordered. The lamb was terribly overcooked and the green beans were virtually raw We were situated in a passage way with the doors opening continually with the consequent draught that ensued . We were offered a free sweet or drink in compensation but...

Love this place, one of my favourites, excellent Sunday roast and great menu with some really yummy good on it. We went here for Christmas dinner which unfortunately was not so good this year however after writing to the manager and not expecting a response she came back to us with a complimentary two course meal, we were outstanded. We...

Lovely stay overnight, good menu and beautiful food - service was also good - helpful staff , lovely cooked breakfast, clean room , comfy bed . Only concern was noisy doors they slam shut so you hear everyone going in morning. The rest is great , ample parking good choice of drinks and pimms on tap !

Only suggestion is - bigger plates!! (Not so you can take more, just so you can fit it all on! Once the meat and Yorkshire...

Been before and was looking for somewhere for lunch. Quite quiet but that suited us nicely as no issues over getting tables. My son and I had nice sandwiches and they were made to order. Little pricy but we knew that before we went in so not a problem and waitress service which is always a nice touch in a...

Easy to find, easy to park, nice food, good service, good selection of beers. Was a little noisy (I think they had a wedding crowd staying) but an enjoyable experience. Would definitely like to go back and try the dinner menu, maybe stay overnight as well.
