We stayed here while visiting people in Coventry. When we were shown to our room (on the ground floor) the corridor was being prepared for renovation. This wasn't a problem as it as quickly cleared up. The room was perfectly adequate and the tea and coffee facilities were better than many places we've stayed. We found the room and corridor...

Stayed here for a girls night out. Hotel is being re-furnished - the areas that have been completed are stunning. Room was perfectly adequate - think the ones we stayed in are being re-furnished next. Clean and comfortable beds. Food is to a high standard and very tasty. Staff are very helpful and friendly. I stopped over for one night as part of a business trip. I found the Jacobean through Booking.com and the price for one nights B&B was good value hence making the booking. Staff on arrival very very friendly and helpful. My room was spacious & comfortable with plenty of extras in the room - iron, tea, coffee, biscuits, hair dryer...

Very tatty bathroom, lots of mildew. Comfy beds. Cheap. Good cooked breakfast. Convenient location. Lots of refurbishment needed. Light bulb missing, low energy bulbs, very dark. Courteous staff; reception helpful.

It was very true to their presentation of what is The Jacobean Hotel. Has a semi rural setting with easy access to the town center. The staff was absolutely perfect. We chilled for a day and enjoyed this special atmosphere and ajacent areas. The original building dates back to before our country was founded. I know thanks to the manager,...

Visiting Coventry for one day only, we needed somewhere reasonably-priced ndclose to the city. The Jacobean filled the bill. It's a big place set well back from a busy road and backs onto fields - and friendly horse neighbours. Neigh. Neigh. The deal was so good that I will forgive them omitting to mention that the plasterers were in doing...

We stayed in this Hotel In November '16 for few nights. The room was way too cold. There was a single rad on one wall which was on but the heat output was warm. The other rad was broken. The attached bathroom was extremely cold..the radiator there was like a "snowman". The water from the taps was only lukwarm. Not...

I promise I'm not a perfectionist but this place was awful! We stayed in the Jacobean hotel after seeing it online and needed a place to stay for the night. When I first turned into the hotel I was greeted by a massive pot hole and a bumpy driveway. The receptionist was helpful and got us into our room quickly....

I stayed here for a few nights for work. The location is great and the parking on site which is right outside reception door. Rooms are warm, clean, tidy and have all the facilities you need. I would easily stay here again. Short walk up the road to the local pub is a bonus if you like real ale. Great...
