We booked a short midweek break to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary and had a brilliant time. The hotel is very different from most and we found this very charming. The staff were brilliant and the food was good. Our room was amazing and they did us proud for our little break and we were really touched by the bottle... More

Extraordinary! A bit musty yet a must visit for a medieval feel. Nuno at the restaurant went out of his way to make our dinner for our friends special. Tammy at breakfast took special care of the guests.

Another wonderful visit to Coombe Abbey, beautiful feature room overlooking the front of the Hotel. Staff as usual were great. Stayed on Sunday and extremely busy with weddings etc. but didn,t experience any excess noise. Garden restaurant is great place to dine and food and service excellent the only drawback being that the surcharges apply to most of the menu... More

Booked a half term deal at the abbey in June. We stayed in a lovely feature bedchamber and had dinner and breakfast included in the offer. The bedroom was really lovely with a Victorian roll top bath in the bedroom. The hotel is very atmospheric and the grounds are really nice to walk around. All the staff were very friendly.... More

My husband and I stayed here for 1 night, but wished we could have stayed here longer. The hotel was huge and it is full of character and antiques. The staff were extremely helpful and our room was amazing. Room number 140 was a feature room, that had a large 4 poster bed, a secret , spacious bathroom hidden behind... More

We went here after going to see Wasps at the Ricoh Stadium as it is 20 minutes away. The hotel is outstanding inside and out. You can walk out of the gardens at the back of the hotel into Coombe Park which is quite extensive. We had a deal from Secret Escapes for one night room upgrade and three course... More

On arrival welcome was great, friendly staff member and very attentive, we then got to our room which was situated on the back overlooking the gardens where the tea rooms and restaurants are. Room was ok, lighting poor, I didn't mind that it was dim in the room as it went with the look and feel of the hotel, but... More

The hotel and grounds are beautiful. The day we arrived the weather was warm and sunny so we had a picnic in the grounds. Our 2 year old grandson enjoyed the park area, especially the swings. The reception area was welcoming and the staff were helpful. I wondered about the £5 per day parking charge as we intended to go... More

Yet again my husband and I have had the perfect afternoon tea at Coombe Abbey. The setting is in the Garden Room Restaurant which is light airy and beautifully elegant. Everything about the tea is gorgeous, sumptuous well filled dainty finger sandwiches, a selection of the most mouthwatering cakes imaginable and tantalisingly warm scones with choice of jams and cream.... Attended Coombe Abbey with family on a Saturday for afternoon tea for a birthday treat for my partner. I had emailed the venue a few days before to inform them of the birthday, asking if they could mark the occasion with a simple gesture. I received an email informing me that the message had been passed on to the kitchen.... More
