I stayed here alone on Saturday 3rd December for a night out in the city and then a trip with the Grandkids to Cadbury World the next day. I had a twin room with en-suite on the 2nd floor. The staff member there was very friendly. There was tea and coffee facilities and fresh towels, the room although dated was...

As stated in the title, my boyfriend and I were going to Cadbury world but as we are over 2 hours drive away we thought it would be easier to stay the night before to avoid an early start. The Room was classed as a Superior Room but was very basic. The rate was £60 bed and breakfast, however I...

Visited Birmingham to attend a wedding all day ... staff were more than willing to allow us early access to the room to enabe us to get ready ... Very appreciated ... not the best shower ...but still usable ... nice clean room .. but unfortunately we had the brightest ever emergency lighting that lit the room all night..not great...

We stayed at this hotel for 1 night only. Upon arrival the check in lady was unable to smile, not very welcoming. The room was small, no wardrobe just hangers on hooks on the wall. The bathroom is incredibly tiny and dated. The toilet looked like it hadn't been cleaned for weeks and there was mould in the shower cubicle....

I paid £55/night for an 'eaves room' which I though a bit expensive given the general standard of the hotel, rooms and breakfast. Against a Premier Inn the Madeira feels very expensive. The car park is only just to say 'off street', its not secluded at all. Reception was unattended early evening, a text was sent to me with the...

Stayed 1 night whilst family member was in hospital in the Royal. Bedding looked nice and clean, but did find a false nail!!! Asked to pay on arrival which we did, then asked for payment again the next morning in front of another guest, saying my card had been declined!! Showed her receipt from previous day, Oh you have a...

I chose this hotel for its location near the end of the Stratford on Avon canal, which I had walked, plus its good access to Birmingham on the train from Northfield station. As a solo traveller I was able to have a single room, which was very compact but still had an en suite toilet/shower. It was good value at...

I appreciate what the standard chain hotels provide but this place is what I love: individual and interesting. Staff very welcoming, comfort brilliant. I was visiting my sister who was at the orthopaedic hospital, very convenient. Recommend!

We hired this hotel for ourselves and our wedding guests for a weekend. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated and the staff very attentive. We had use of a the conference area to hang out and were given tea coffee and biscuits throughout our stay. Highly recommend
