We stayed for one night at this wonderful, quirky, cosy inn as we were watching a gig at the Institute. Great location for this, just a few minutes walk away. Check in was very relaxed, and we were shown to wonderful room 8! It's huge! Massive room with such a comfy bed and a large separate bathroom with beautiful roll... More

Amazing building and great food. Atmosphere was relaxed and the staff were friendly and helpful. Played great music. Room 5 has a really comfortable four poster bed. Would definitely stay there again if ever in Birmingham.

Clean friendly location we have used before. Staff very happy to help and accommodating. Foods good although they might think about expanding the menu and the residents breakfast was first rate. On the down side parking is a lottery (Cheap parking a short walk if not) and the area is very noisy at weekends.

The staff couldn't have been more helpful. The room was warm clean and comfortable. The somewhat sombre nature of the hotel indicates a need for management investment in lightbulbs! I shall be taking a LED reading light when I return next week.

There is not a right angle in the place, we had the family room with bathroom. You have to walk up hill to the bathroom. Daylight shows through the walls and some parts of the ceiling are low. This hotel is awesome and I can not recommend it high enough. The staff were brilliant, the food was gorgeous and the... More

We stayed here after a gig at the o2 institute, really handy only a couple of blocks away. We opted for a shared bathroom room which worked out fine. The bathrooms were very good, great shower, very clean. The room was basic but didn't need it to be much more than that. Nice and warm, coffee and tea there too.... More

We visited this pub as it is the official meeting place for the Real Peaky Blinders Tour. I was pleasantly surprised on arriving it was so nice to step back in time and have a good ale in comfortable old style surroundings. All of the staff were friendly and the service was excellent. A good selection of Ales, Ciders and... More
