We stayed at the hotel there is only 1 lift working. The hotel is quite noisy. Our room was dirty and so we moved rooms the next one was better. The bunk bed is small and not suitable for an adult. We was offered breakfast but there was flys over the food staff did remove the food overall not a... More

I stayed here for two nights with my girlfriend while visiting Birmingham city centre. The staff were firendly and helpful, and the room was tidy and well cleaned throughout our stay. The key cards however took about five minutes to swipe properly each time we went to our room which was annoying. The TV was good and an extra bunk... More

Good value hotel, standard ibis minimalist design. Great location in Chinatown, a couple of minutes walk to the shopping centre. Comfy bed, quiet room and a good night sleep. Perfect for a transit through the city.

Clean and budget and the price is amazing. It is no frills but this is exactly what I want when I stay on business. Clean and quiet - good night's sleep. Downside, no air con and no tea/coffee making facilities but for the price great value.

The staff we came in contact with were all very friendly, so 5* for them, however, the room itself was small, cramped and incredibly loud due to the fact it was right on the main road. I've stayed in hotels before that have been this close to the road that have had triple glazing etc. This hotel had none of... More

15 mins walk to Grand Central Station and Bull Ring shopping centre. Clean, comfortable and good service. Need room key to access to all floors. They even have an ironing room on the ground floor, it's free You can get a double for £50 or less a night.

If you're on a budget and have a car, this is certainly the place to stay in Birmingham. Although do not park your car in their parking lot, because it costs £7 for 24 hours. Instead, go across the dual carriageway, where there are two parking lots, one charges £1 for 24 hours but, looks like it's from a horror... More

Stayed in a triple room. Was warmly welcomed at 11.30am and we were allowed to check in even though 2pm is the check in time. It was a really nice touch after a long journey. Room was nice and clean although very basic as expected. Only real criticism is that the room was so hot! Reception did provide us with... More

Customer service was fantastic! Honestly really impressed. Snacks and drinks available to buy downstairs and parking also available (limited but reasonable price). Rooms were clean - basic but very well set out. Only thing is that the lift is falling apart. Great location - so close to new street station.

I would definitely stay in this hotel again when in Birmingham. It has all you need, of course it's basic but the bed was comfortable, the shower hot and the breakfast not too bad for a budget accomodation. To be fair, you will hear the traffic if your room faces the main street, even at night it is still quite... More
