The setting on Broad Street doesn’t look the greatest but once inside it’s pretty decent. the rooms are good, breakfast decent and staff very friendly. There can be some noise from the street but surprisingly quiet in the hotel. Go for a corner room on a high floor if you can.

Recently refurbished hotel situated ten minutes walk from the city centre and fifteen minutes from New Street Station (get an Uber if going from here). From outside hotel looks like an old office block. However you'll be pleasantly surprised once in. Take the lift to third floor
