Arrived to find car park jam packed at 8pm on a Wednesday and Alternate was a long walk in the rain. A very tired small room down a long narrow corridor was dark and oppressive. Staff and check in/out were very good but for £120 the room was 50 pound overpriced.

From time to time this does happen for which we have alternative arrangements at the nearby NCP multi storey car park. It is with regret to learn you found the room you occupied to be very tired. The advert says 10 out of 10 experience and this is not . Currently staying here room 331 , no heating lukewarm water and 10 minutes calling reception to get at least something sorted . Best of all standard room rate is upto £295 for a last Minute traveller this is not 10 out of

I am sorry to learn there were conditional elements of your stay which did not meet your expectations. Please accept or apologies for the water not having been hot enough. I am sorry for the time taken for our Reception team to respond to your request/s, but please be assured our team work as swiftly as possible to guest requests and sometimes this is affected by various reasons and therefore prioritising is important. Came and ate at the Marco Pierre White restaurant and the food was lovely, staff were great. Especially Sian and Eph! Couldn’t do enough for us and made sure we were happy throughout! Will definitely be coming back!

Standard Double Room
Looks like it’s a manager thing at this hotel, they say you are what you sow and there top manager must have awful customer service skills. I complained a while back and asked for a manager to call me as there wasn’t one available on site. When she did she argued every point with me rather than listen and apologising. Very disappointing from the manager of a well known brand hotel.

The hotel is at the end of the runway on an incline, so you can see it from the hotel. You can certainly see the planes land from the overspill multi story car park just over the road.

I don’t know about the bus but there are plenty of taxis and they only cost about £6/7 to get between the two

Please can you tell me, if you pay to park for 15 days, where do you leave your car?
In their car park. You are given a sheet of paper to put into your car which you display. You also keep a ticket on entry and when you return you give the ticket to the receptionist and they do something so you can exit. The car park is very secure.
