My wife and I have stayed here many times but the parking arrangements have changed to NCP and unless you have booked parking in advance it will cost you £33! if you arrive and leave at the normal times.
Travelodge Birmingham airport is good for a few nights. Quite noisy if you're against the road or airport but otherwise simple Travelodge. Shower curtain sticks to you when you're showering so watch out!
Very much a Ryanair experience, very basic with extra hidden charges! Car Park cost extra, very noisy sandwiched between a busy road and the airport. Food very poor, limited selection, no coffee. Save the money and buy breakfast out!.

"do not park here"
"rooms over looking the runway"
"3rd floor upwards front of hotel you can see the planes taking off :)"
"Book a room at the front of the hotel on a high floor and pre-pay if having breakfast"
