I stayed in The Collection Hotel in Edgbaston from 6th February 2017 to 10th February 2017. I booked this hotel as it was. Lose to the hospital, where my husband was having an operation. So I thought it was convenient. The hotel was dirty, the carpets need cleaning, the floors need washing, the walls need redecorating. I booked a Premier...

I stayed for 2 nights to be near my son who was having a heart operation at Queen Elizabeth Hospital. I did not expect a lot considering the price, just needed to be a 10 minute taxi away from the hospital. The room was OK, not as clean as a chain motel would be. The bedding was washed, but marked,...

My sister and I booked for one night, and having read some of the reviews, I was a little apprehensive. I was, however, very pleasantly surprised. My room was clean, warm and comfortable. The bathroom was spotless and quite well appointed. There was no ironing board, but I didn't want one (we only stayed one night) and there were no...

This hotel was good for the money nothing special and at least our room cud have done with a coat of paint to freshen it up. Our bathroom was nice but very dark just lights around mirror to light room could have done with a light above bath. The bath overflow was just a hole with a plastic pipe sticking...

I stayed here with my fiancé for one night. On the website the picture of the room looked amazing and exactly to our expectation. When we arrived at the hotel the reception service was standard. They took my card details just incase anything would break or damage in the room. We was given room 912. The room paint was half...

So... I chose this hotel for the duration of the spring fair due to price and location, both were fantastic. I did not expect to have it all for the price...who would? So why 5 stars? The hotel delivers on what I expected, simple. I was not let down, not once in my 7 night stay. When it all comes...

Broken light bulbs, random hairs in the bathroom sink, frankly impressive cobwebs and some dubious looking stains. The whole place needs a good clean. I paid £80 per night for a room next to a main road with a lumpy bed. Next time I'll sleep in my car.

Birmingham is a very nice city, lots to do. But my opinion is the larger the city the larger the rip off in the hotels. Hagley Road is only a couple of miles from the city. The rooms were reasonably comfortable, the cleanliness was questionable. The staff were very helpful and for me that's about it. This review could continue, but...

I was first given a room 900 which was not cleaned, the beds were stained and rubbish every where, literally untouched from the previous customers who stayed. Then i moved to 902, within 2 hours of staying i heard my bags scruffling, when i woke up and turned on the light i saw a mouse jump out of the bag...

The hotel offers a basic service. The rooms have reasonable beds, but could do with a lick of paint in places - if not to just cover up the places where holes in the walls have been filled. The fridge in the room was noisy and so I ended up unplugging it. The lights in the room had not been...
