Basically what it says in the title. This place is cheap so obviously it isn't going to be a top quality hotel. The reception/bar/restaurant area is lovely and modern. The rooms on the other hand are in need of a bit of updating. However, they were very clean and comfortable so no complaints there. It is like being in an... More

Stayed for one night. Room was fine. However don't bother with breakfast. It looks like it's laid out and left under the heat lamps till its cleared to dry out and become inedible after a short time. The bacon was like shoe leather everything else was like polystyrene it had dried out that much. The continental offer is better. Good... More

Great hotel to stay in if you're going for a night out at the 02 academy as its only a couple of hundred yards away from it. Yes the rooms are very basic but they're clean and comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and the breakfast was just right. The only issue we had was the noise made... More

room very basic, but clean and comfortable.no trouble sleeping and you have tea/coffee making in room. ideal for a nights stay when visiting Birmingham. we have stayed there before when going to a show at the Barclay card arena, we stayed there last week when going to the theatre, which meant we could have food and a drink after the... Room is American style Motel - small and basic. Outdated furniture and decor but clean and comfortable. Not much sound insulation - earplugs are useful due to noisy guests, car park and street. If you don't like shabby and your room opening to the outside corridor you won't feel safe or comfortable here. I went here for the parking which... More

This hotel was booked by a work colleague. It wasn't in an area where I felt safe. It has a fence and gate around the outside of it but you ring the buzzer they let anyone in! The rooms are like a 70s motel with awful orange curtains and green plastic bathroom. There were people partying until 1am next door,... More

I booked through Agoda.com but unfortunately Ibis never received the payment so what the desk did on my check in date was take my card details for "identity purposes" but they really did charge another £59 without informing me. Room was clean and okay. Location was a few minutes walk from shops so it was okay. But honestly, location and... More

I stayed here with my boyfriend overnight on our journey down south. Central to all shopping and restaurants within walking distance. Parking onsite is £5 - you pay this at reception and they give you a ticket for the car. Rooms are dated but who can complain for £35?! Buffet breakfast was £5.95 each but worth it to fill us... My daughter and I stayed here for 1 night because we were attending a concert at the 02 academy. Firstly, we turned up at the wrong Ibis - we needed to go past the first one we saw (budget) and keep going to the next one on Irving street. Parking is in a gated car park, with spaces next to... Terrible staff. No customer service skills. Receptionist didn't even acknowledge me Dated rooms and could do with updating. Clean bathroom. Surrounding area bit round down . Good access to city centre Close to the 02 arena.
