Stayed here few times and is absolutely perfect for cheap stay over for nite out! Great location, parking £5 for 24 hours and secure. Ok so rooms and bathroom dated and need refurb so hopefully these get sorted. Took advantage of the pre-pay buffet breakfast at £5.95. Plentiful and hot and saved going out the complex to find anywhere. Do... More

Unusually for me, did not check tripadvisor first and booked this hotel as a centrally located place to stay for a shopping trip and the British Athletics Championships. On checking tripadvisor, I began to feel a little anxious about my booking due to negative reviews, however on arrival at the hotel, I was pleasantly surprised; parking was secure, check in... More

This hotel was booked for me by my employer. The hotel is hampered by its physical design and so long as you are happy with the 60's motel design then it is a perfectly adequate for an overnight stay. The room was spotlessly clean with all the comforts of any budget chain hotel - and for a location close to... More

Located in the centre of Birmingham, the Ibis is perfectly located - about a 10-minute walk to Broad Street, and you pass The Mailbox on the way so you're not short of choices for where to eat/drink.The same walk in a different direction will get you to New Street Station and the Bullring so for locality it's fantastic. The room... More

Was far away from the centre even tho it is called "Birmingham CENTRE" so had to pay extra to get to and from the centre. The staff where rude and all foreign so couldn't understand me, they spoke a lot in there own language, this made it hard to ask where anything was. Will never go back to Birmingham again... More

The room was small but had everything you needed, there is parking at the hotel, it is right beside the 02 academy and a short walk into the BullRing and the rest of the town. The breakfast was great, had some of everything. We took a trip the Cadburys and the hotel rang ahead for a cab to come to... More

For £39 a night plus £5 for parking we couldn't really have asked for more. We got to the area earlier than expected and the team in reception let us leave our car there until we could check in at 2, which was really handy. Bedroom was a bit dated, yes. But also very clean and the bed was comfy.... More

- Cheap hotel around £35 and it wasn't that bad at all, - It's nice how the reception is on the side, and the hotels are outside, reminded me of being in Spain, - Bedroom was nice, big, tidy plus the bathroom was big to, - Wouldn't mind coming again.

I booked this "hotel" for me and my partner for a one night stay whilst in Birmingham. On arrival we checked in and was given the key to our room. The rooms are not actually in a hotel but in a motel type building. The room was very dated, stained carpets, the bathroom had a string smell of drains and... More

If you describe this place as cheap and cheerful, you've said it all. The room was clean and so was the bathroom. We stayed for 2 nights, however I was relieved that we only had breakfast on the first day. The cooked breakfast is clearly cooked very early and left on a hot plate for literally hours. The food obviously... More
