We visited the Hilton prior to a show at the Genting Arena at the NEC. If going to the venue the hotel is in an excellent location with a minimal walk. The service at the desk was fast and efficient and the room was both furnished and maintained to an extremely high quality. We sadly didn't have time to utilise...

Stayed 2 nights to attend a show at the NEC, really could not be more convenient, had an executive room with lounge access which was very comfortable. The breakfasts were excellent with the friendly staff working really hard. Check in and out was a dream. Wifi was very fast and reliable, the lounge was well stocked and comfortable.

We are members of the Hilton honours programme so took advantage of their sale. A very early morning flight so booked a basic twin room with breakfast ( although we knew we would be leaving too early to enjoy it). and evening meal. The room was clean, comfortable and had everything you would need for an overnight stay. The evening...

Enjoyed a very professional and friendly welcome at Reception. My room had twin single beds - I normally on my travels have enjoyed a Double bed for single occupancy. Heating was 'impossible' to control - either freezing or stiflingly warm! The bathroom was adequate, however both the toilet bowl and wash basin had hairline cracks. Bar service was terribly slow...

Stayed here recently for business trip. Overall a very poor experience and won't go back. Lots of little things coming together to diminish experience which definitely was not cheap. My room and bed was tiny, the shower and toilet immediately behind my bedroom head (open-room plan) with no separate bathroom at all. The TV was old-fashioned with a poor selection...

I stayed here to attend a conference. The room this time was a single deluxe and better than the queen room I had last year. The only concern was when I went to shower. There was a big splodge of someone else's shampoo/shower gel running down the glass wall. It was still there the next day. I left a note...

Seriously... this is like student digs at a premium. I was in a room more compact than student accommodation in Birmingham. Open plan bathroom and bed wacked up against the wall. Go crowne plaza. So much nicer than this rubbish. Even a travel lodge is better

Dear COOLZONE99 Thank you for sharing your experience. We can advise that the room type you had booked was one of our single occupancy rooms, which has an open plan layout. The hotel does of course have a variety of room types to choose from; perhaps we could recommend one of our double rooms on a future visit. Kind regards...

I expected so much more for the price ! Behind woken up every day by house keeping banging on your door and others doors before 9am was not great. The lifts being out of service for three days when you are on the forth floor was also not great. In all honesty the Premier Inn offers better for the money....
