We visited this hotel through a deal with hotel stays. I rang the week before and was informed there was not a wedding on that weekend. On arrival we were informed that there was a wedding and we would not be able to eat at the hotel. The first room we were given keys to had mould all up the... More

We stayed here with kids as part of an online deal that included the room, breakfast and the safari park. Overall it was very good value for money and for that I would give it 5 stars. The actual hotel itself had two areas, one was the main building which is an old Manor House and is well maintained. The... More

So we are on an annual halfway meet with friends for a family weekend break. After reading previous reviews about the outdated decor and noisy rooms we remained optimistic. Now actually sat in a family room listening to the extremely loud wedding party and dodgy dj talking over each track, we understand each point made. From the point of checking... More

we stayed at the Plough and Harrow on a Tuesday night, myself and my husband booked a family room for ourselves and 2 children and my parents booked a double room. Finding the hotel wasn't too difficult with satnav, although its on a one way road so if you miss it you have to go all the way back up... More

Currently sat in a 'family room' trying to get a 4 year old and 2 year old to sleep extremely poor sofa bed which I can't sit of the edge of as it keeps collapsing. (I'm not a big person) the bottom legs are bent. There is a wedding booming from across the garden so loud that I can hear... More

We recently visited the Plough and Harrow following the purchase of a voucher for a bottomless brunch. We started with a warm cooked option from the brunch menu, I personally opted for the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs which was lovely, others opted for the full English breakfast which they were not disappointed with. The second part of brunch gave... More

We recently bought a deal with hotel stays for Cadbury world and this hotel was included in the deal for a family of four. Free car parking is always a bonus in a busy area such as Edgbaston. The hotel reception and lounge/bar is beautiful. The room we were given was slightly tired, but clean, spacious, light and comfortable with... More
