We were warmly welcomed by the hosts made to feel valued in a very helpful manner. Our room was basic and dated but nice and clean and good for the money. As per other reviews the water pressure was very poor but towels and toiletries were nice. Sadly our room faced the front which is right onto to a very... More

Lovely guest house and the owners Michael & Marlene are lovely. We only stayed overnight as we were up early for the airport the next day. The guest house is ideally situated only a 15 min drive to the airport and with little traffic at 5am, we were there 10 mins later! Check in was simple-we contacted the owners in... More

First problem at the place was parking, seems they are quite limited so had to shift car as soon as arrived, then after had been out struggled to park again, was in room 4 had a sloping ceiling which made quite difficult to access the bathroom without banging head (I am 6' tall) shower water flow was poor and either cold... Hi we are sorry that you had difficulties parking your car on the driveway. Unfortunately we have to have 4 cars parked there. You took the whole of the driveway up by parking your car length-ways? You are the first person to moan about the height of the ceiling...we have had 6ft people in room 4 before. Shower problem, some... More

I booked this guest house through booking.com for a one night stay prior to going to an exhibition at the NEC. As we would be travelling from Plymouth to Birmingham after I finish work on the Friday night and couldn't guarantee what time our arrival would be. With this in mind I called the guest house to confirm our booking... More

This place is a bit like staying at your grandma's. Everything feels a bit like a nursing home but Michael and Marlene are lovely. My room was small and with an external bathroom but was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great (and huge!). I like to try out new places each time I am in Birmingham for work so... Michael and Marlene are very warm, inviting hosts who ensure that their guest house is comfortable, clean, and welcoming. The house is on a very busy road, which can create street noise for rooms in the front, and keeping windows closed is not always helpful or possible (there was a heat wave when I stayed). However, it also means the... More

I had a wonderful welcome off Michael and the room was spotless and comfortable. The loo seat was broken which I mentioned to Michael and he said he's fix it . Parking was hit and miss by the time I got back from work as there was a big van taking up most of the remaining space. I had a... More

Couldn't have asked for a nicer or more friendly bed and breakfast. The place was spotless and very comfortable. There is a bit of noise from the main road so earplugs may be advised if you are a light sleeper but I can't fault it at all. They even got up early to let me get breakfast as I had... More

I had no problems whatsoever at this hotel. The owners were lovely, the hotel was clean and I had a good night's sleep due to a comfortable bed. I would definitely stay here again as it's very convenient for Birmingham Airport.

We only stayed for one night, wished it could have been longer. Thank you Marlene and Michael for a lovely stay, great people. We had a twin room at the front of the house, even though we was at the front you could not hear the duel carriageway traffic. But I would say still take ear plugs, for a good... More
