Very very small rooms and beds. Over priced for what you get. Double bed looks like a single and a single bed is about 2'6" wide. Booked a twin room and on arrival got told I had a double? Also told no twins left but on producing confirmation paperwork all of a sudden a twin was found?? What a surprise!

stayed here for one night to visit the Christmas Market and the Clothes Show at the NEC - reception and welcome was very good and very efficient and the public areas were clean and tidy. The rooms are basic but they do everything they need to do and the beds were comfortable. Would stay again as it's great for a...

We chose to stay here as it was a great location for the theatre but small rooms with tiny bathrooms I'm only 5ft 2 and was constantly hitting my elbows the kettle was broken and we only got hand towels. BUT oh I do wish I looked at trip advisor and not just the hotels description "in the lively chinese...

Visited for weekend get away. All in all very good experience. Located a stones throw from the bull ring 10 mins from broad street ideal location. The room was comfortable and good in size. Breakfast buffet was nice and plentiful with the bar prices being reasonable for a hotel. The staff were very welcoming and helpful especially the manager (who...

I agree with previous reviews, this hotel is too hot/stuffy in the rooms and communal areas. No airflow unless you open a window and it's too noisy to do that all night. The heating was not on in our room, yet the temp was too high for a comfortable nights sleep. Stayed here one night for a trip to the...

Fantastic location, modern hotel, easy parking, nice brekkie & extremely friendly and helpful staff. I want to revisit, however, I will definitely BRING EAR PLUGS! I can pretty much sleep through anything but the noise here is horrendous. Nightclubs & a taxi rank immediately outside the hotel means shouty drunk people, traffic, horns & sirens. I managed a total of...

We went down to Birmingham by train and this hotel is a short walk away from New Street station. Close to the Bull Ring shopping centre and Chinatown and the Birmingham Hippodrome. Clean no nonsense room with a comfortable bed and small but efficient bathroom with body wash provided. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Free wifi throughout...

Such a shame that this hotel is opposite a noisy nightclub. Our room was opposite a smokers' balcony of the nightclub, so we had thumping music and people shouting until late. Really fortunate that other rooms were available and kind of the hotel to move us. Really poor customer service though when a member of staff (Pavel) came to our...
